Well done man, I like your videos, please do more cruise ship tour. This gotta be the best Icon of the Sea tour since you show us deck by deck and is not confusing. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this ubber comprehensive ship tour. Not only was your videography beautifully stable, you filmed it in crystal clear 1080p and focused in on all the important features. As a full time career who will very unlikely be able to experience this in real life, I really, really enjoyed it virtually. Thanks again, Stu.
I thought the way they labeled the best elevator to use (forward vs aft) was very helpful when onboard. The ship is so easy to navigate even though it’s huge
Excellent video and very informative. My only suggestion is a longer section on The Overlook and to intercut night scenes of The Overlook and Central Park.
Great tour you really always go into so much detail thank you for taking the time to ALWAYS provide fantastic content! I loved your Icon vlog series you guys are so fun, I love it. I have a question for you. I'm currently on deck 9 in a Surfside Balcony cabin, I am in 9289 the first cabin as you enter Surfside. I've watched your tour of 9331 Surfside Balcony I don't know how many times. The reason is, that I know where I'm located right now I won't get a view compared to your location. I have the option of going to an Oceanview Balcony on deck 12 midship ship so really long walk to the elevator and far from everything. It's only $ 188 more total for 2 to move up. In your expert opinion if it were you, what would you do? Stay on deck 9 in 9289, move to 9331 or move up to deck 12 mid. I'm so confused and I need some guidance as you were on the ship for 10 days and you got a feel for the best locations. Thank you in advance for your time as I know you guys are busy.
Hi! I think we would probably stay, personally. We would prefer the better location over the ocean view, but that’s definitely a personal preference. Luckily you really can't go wrong on this ship! Hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
You know it's going to be a big ship when halfway through the ship tour is already 45 minutes😂😂😂 amazing job as always thank you for taking the time out to do this on all the cruises. Good lawd that's a lot of money I was thinking I might want to try Empire and then I heard 250 a person. Ain't no way. Do they have the unlimited dining package and would that cover any part of the cost. Loving that new section of the buffet. How far is Base camp from El loco fresh cuz I'm thinking you take the free tater tots go to El loco fresh and load them up with toppings and have taco tots😂😋. This ship is amazing. So many cool new venues. Looks amazing. Enjoy.
Hi Dawn! ❤️ Holy cow yes this was a biggie! But the ship having good flow helped Matt get it done decently easily! Ya the Empire Supper Club is pretty crazy. If you have the unlimited dining package it covers part of the cost of Empire but not the whole thing. Dawn the idea of making loaded tots at basecamp/el loco fresh is GENIUS!!! Will definitely try that next time! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Hi CashMopar! ❤️ Not sure on that. I didn't notice any signs indicating but they may be extra cost. Sorry to not have a definitive answer. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Great video. Very informative. Thank you. Out of curiosity, do you as a travel agent get invited to the inaugural sailings? I would think this helps you understand the product you are selling. 2nd question, how do I contact you to book a cruise?
Hi! Yes! So sometimes they'll invite travel agents to check out the ships in order to get to now the product, most often they'll do this for top selling agents. Absolutely! You can email us at Matt.Hoffman@CruisePlanners.com ! We hope we hear from you! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Have you done the "escape room" on wonder? I did and asked if there were plans to "complete" it and the answer was there is no plan. Probably going to be the same for icon. A theme-less/plot-less escape room.
Matt, great tour, not rushed and explained very well. Not happy that Royal Caribbean have gone back on what they said that Icon would sail from Southampton, England. We won't be sailing on her now as she is not sailing from the UK. Have no interest of sailing around the Caribbean, we prefer European cruises, from the MED to the Baltics. So many countries we still want to see in Europe.
I would assume that one of the next Icon class ships will be primarily in Europe. You have to remember that Florida has the busiest cruise ports in the world, so it makes sense to base the first Icon class ship here. RCI can run 3,4,7 day cruises with it 52 weeks a year. And at the premium prices Icon is pulling right now, it would be insane to place it in Southampton.
@@tscoffey1 Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley confirmed when Icon of the Seas debuts, she will sail from the UK at the start of her career. Speaking to TTG Media, Mr. Bayley emphasized how important the UK cruise market is by mentioning Icon of the Seas will sail from Southampton. You can look up various posts online which say the same. This year we are giving RCL a miss and going with P&O for the first time ever for a Norwegian cruise.
I watched this video despite the fact I have absolutely no intention of sailing aboard. I love cruises, I do two a year, but this ship has all the appeal of a Las Vegas shopping mall albeit at sea. That said, you did a great job with this tour. I will stick with Regent. My next cruise is aboard the Seven Seas Grandeur, Regent’s newest ship. It’s not the world’s largest ship but I hope you’ll be impressed.
