Yes definitely a lovely beach with nice soft sand (not nice when wearing racing boots lol). It was great to get close to the bunkers, it really gives you a feel of how it was like then.
Yes people are still interested and so they should be. There are lots of tanks just left around and people restore them.. it's great to just go around and see them..
All these monument sculptures are amazing! They look to be so well kept. There looks to be lots of space and time to wander at leisure no crowds hurrying you along. Utah beach itself is spectacular!
Yes is is lovely there, what you never saw was the coach load of screaming kids going into Utah visitors center, I was planning on going there but not with the kids lol
@mrbsp1 🤣🤣 the camera does lie then 😆 I hate attending rammed visitor attractions as you never get seeing what you want to see and be able to take it all in.
Great video Karl you were right when you said there was better to come. These memorials are getting more interesting as you travel on . Just a quick question, how are you managing with the camping or your accommodation, is it easy to find .Take care Byyyeeee🏍️👍
Thanks mate, there is still lots more to come, Camping was a lot easier than I expected, I bought a small 2 man tent and cooking equipment, proper bike panniers to carry it all. I also bought a garmin bike sat nav that has pre logged campsites, petrol stations,shops.etc.wherever I am I just check the sat nav and find a local campsite, prices were good and once I'm pitched up I go and explore. 😊
Great video Karl, bless all the veterans!!! 🇺🇸🏴🇬🇧🇫🇷🇧🇪🏴
Thanks kimberley,
