For those who wonder about the glitter just think of it like play doh it's non-toxic but non-edible, it's not poisonous but you don't eat it either. That kind of glitter is actually for cake decorating used as displays. Many ppl don't understand the diff when the glitter says non-toxic and non-edible especially if it's sold at a bakery supply shop, you'd assume it should be edible. I didn't know the diff either until I did some research. It is pretty but unfortunately the body can't breakdown the material and it can lead to belly aches etc. Some ppl use it sparingly but it's the ones who use a ton on their party desserts that has me like 😬 I'm very glad Cristina mentions it in her video and in the description that those glitters are non-edible because some ppl don't and like she mentions tinker dust is edible ad FDA approved. Thanks for the great tutorial btw!!
I find it better to see it as lipstick or chapstick. They’re not made for eating but won’t hurt you….plus, if you eat a lot of it, you’ll feel like a unicorn when you poop it out lol
This is THE BEST video I have watched since my research on treats the past few months for detailed videos. Thank you sooo much Christina! Your a true blessing 😁🙌🏽
You are amazing. The dress you wearing and at the background you kept big strawberry, that’s made the video sooo special you spent lotion collecting the chocolate and colors ,glitter…the lot of patience..hats off.. I ll definitely try 2.3 methods ..tha❤ks
Hands down, best chocolate dipping tutorial ever!!! Thank you so much Christina for all your tips and tricks! I couldn't figure out why my chocolate would sometimes make my strawberries look like elephant skin 😫 and thanks to you I know why. I just purchased the thermometer, thanks again!
Thank you so much for watching!! 💕🍫There's always so many concepts I want to address for you guys, and I never get to explain them in depth in one video🤗 I enjoyed making this guide to clear up any common questions you have!!🥰
I loved this tutorial, it was so thorough and I appreciated your insight on showing which brands you prefer including showing the comparison of chocolates. Your enthusiasm also helps, most videos don’t grab my attention. Thanks!
Hello Shalonte it's great to meet you and hear that my tips were helpful for you ❤️🍓 If you have an instagram it would be fun for you to send me photos your creations on there , would love to see how they come out!!
Cristina you’re SO talented; these are GREAT! So pretty, all of them! 👍🏾 I’d get the Candy Apples and not allow them to be eaten….So beautiful; and Yes, “Dorothy’s Magic Slippers” 😉
Thank you so muvh Marneen!! 💕💕 It is always great hearing from you, you are the sweetest!! I love making fun tutorials for you guys to constantly learn new tricks! 🍓The candy apples are indeed to pretty to eat 😂 very beautiful to look at ✨
I'm so glad I found your channel, now I know where I have been going wrong in some techniques! Can you please explain in a little detail what the Deb & hold (?) Process is how to make it or purchase it besides just applying?! Thank you! Valentine's day here I come!!
Gorgeous Seriously gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I made strawberries with chocolate for the first time they all got stuck on the plate I will definitely try it again

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! ❤ I am now a fan! This is the first video of yours I have watched and I'm just wowed at how beautiful and tasty everything looks. You are very talented, and I greatly appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us. I like dipping strawberries and cookies, etc in chocolate. I have gotten compliments. But these are breathtakingly beautiful. I have to go back and watch the part on the disco dust though, I think I heard you say it's not approved for consumption or something, not sure, lol. Or Maybe not recommended. But they are so pretty.
Thank you Earl! It is great to hear feedback from someone that has experience with dipping chocolate treats. I also posted an updated video sharing a method without using candy coloring to save money. Yes for disco dust/techno glitter they are commonly used at bakeries/small businesses but they are only considered non-toxic since they are not labeled with nutritional value by the FDA. So they are mainly aesthetic/ for decorative purposes. If you the look , in my description box I linked Tinker Dust which looks as close to the disco dust as possible but has been FDA approved. It can be applied with the same technique using a shaker for best results
When comparing the wilton and other chochlate you should of used the white chochlate instead of one with sprinkles in it. Because when I use wilton chochlate it turns out amazing.
Hi Vanessa I do have an updated video about how to best melt/work with Wilton! It's definitely not a bad product but I prefer not to use it this way- depending on the brand of melts, I melt them each in their own specific way, and at different temperatures. Wilton/ craft store chocolates needs to be dipped at higher temperatures so it doesn't work for everything (treats that need to be dipped at lower temperatures) and requires to be adjusted more/doctored up to use for those purposes, but I do find it can work for berries. I chose sprinkles to tell them apart- however I am glad that this product works for you! th-cam.com/video/d62PEi0YQ0I/w-d-xo.html
You are very welcome Ashley!! Nice to meet you💕 If you want an even easier method, I just uploaded an updated video on Sunday with a giveaway as well- definitely check it out if you are looking to cut cost on candy coloring 🤗
Just subscribe I love how detailed you are, I have a question instead of candy melts can I use coverture chocolate. It is very hard to find candy melts.
Good morning, thank you for the tutorial! Very informative and excellent tips. I couldn’t catch what you mentioned about the hood spray you use for the apples 🍎 before applying the glitter. Can you give me the name please.
This is a very informative tutorial video❤ i have 1 question tho, can i put the strawberry back in the fridge after decorating them? How long they will last in room temperature or air-condition room? I live in singapore which is quite humid. I have an upcoming baby shower party and would love to add these beauties on my desert table❤

I’d still eat it. Lol
I find it better to see it as lipstick or chapstick. They’re not made for eating but won’t hurt you….plus, if you eat a lot of it, you’ll feel like a unicorn when you poop it out lol
I was wondering the same thing and I went to the comments and no one s talking about it.
Thank you! I don’t really understand why anyone would want a Berry covered in non -edible material. Your explanation is helpful!

How do you store them after? Or prepare for transportation with them?
Where I live, my only option is the brand name candy melts, but I also have a melting pot that keeps it perfect consistency from the same brand
