I have the 2767-20 and that thing's a beast. I replaced the blades on my parents' lawnmower with it, 2 years ago. 17 years of rust, broke that lugnut right off. I would've never gotten it off by hand.
Although it didn’t matter in this case, using the 1/2-3/4 adapter causes a bit of torque loss. Milwaukee impacts are nothing to scoff at that’s for sure. I like my dewalt but I have a lot of respect for Milwaukee cause most of their products are the best in the business
I bought a 3/4 m18 impact wrench and the (US PRO 3/4 to 1/2) won't fit on because of the friction ring in the way... anyone have a clue what 3/4 to 1/2 adapter will fit??? Many thanks
The one you have will fit, it's just a snug fit. There is a rubber O ring behind that steel friction ring that acts like a spring, pushing the steel ring out. You need to hammer that adapter on, make sure to align it right before you hammer it on. Or just smack it on the concrete floor while holding that adapter to the anvil. It will get easier to go on and off with time and use. But there are no other sizes. I prefer the steel ball mechanism to hold the sockets on, but the strength of the anvil is reduced with that option.
@@miguelcardozo3413go with the 1/2. I have the 2767 high impact and I love it. I’m a Diesel tech and I use it a lot. I want to buy the mid impact 1/2 2962 just to keep in my truck. It’s perfect for removing wheels for normal size vehicles.
@@onsomekillshit yea definitely do a redo when you’re able to, adapters are definitely torque killers. And go for impact sockets, they make a difference in performance as well, chromes aren’t meant for it and don’t have that weight to really impact.
@@kdtxtooldad i’m gonna have to i got the corresponding sockets for each, the 1/2 in 2767 makes a very concerning death rattle when it reaches max tightening that isn’t present with the 3/4 2864 and we got the 1” pistol so may have to put them all up against each other now haha

The socket is starting to crack. I can't believe you're using Chrome on any impact ranch, especially a high torque. I go the other way and grab some Milwaukee Shockwave impact sockets. Don't buy chrome, your eyes will thank u. 👍🇨🇦

Adapter cuts your torque. 3/4 gun with 3/4 sockets = beast
my uncle just purchased the 3/4 n man is it strong I was thinking of getting 1/2 but man 3/4 w/3/4 to 1/2 adapter is awesome
Between the two guns I think it may be it’s only like a 30 foot pound performance difference
Crome socket with an impact 😬 got them safety squints on I see.
Plus its a 12 point on a 6 nut

It's never very wise to use an impact on a chrome socket.
Especially a cracked one. Lol.
I would advise getting your face really close to the socket and staring at it, while impacting.. lol..

I own both of those Impact tools…. Milwaukee the BEST!!!
I’m trying to buy one for my dad but he wants it to take off lug nuts would both have no issues or should I go with the 3/4

Thank you.
They are basically the same impact one just has a 3/4 anvil those 2767s are no joke
Guys, he is using an impact socket it’s spray-painted silver !
😂😂😂😂
To be fair to 2767-20, use 6Ah HO
it will out work 2864-20
they both are same gun
Using an adapter on the 2767 weakens it.
true but i didn’t have a 1 5/8 1/2 drive socket, i just got a new hd 12.0 aswell maybe can redo with some rustier lug nuts on a semi with them both

which impact wrench is most powerful? kindly reply
the 3/4 is more powerful, and will get off bolts that are tighter
Its not just about the power that makes it better.. bigger center mass plays a big role
Must not be that tight originally with the 1/2 spinning them off that fast with an adapter. 200-300 ft lbs maybe?
They do 900-1200 lb/ft breakaway. They’re likely not 1200 tightened but they’re pretty snug
@@Lubbocksfinest Not with an adapter.

People can I order 3/4 envil and install a 3/4 on 1/2” shell ?
They make adapters
I think we need an impact socket..🤔
Not all impact sockets have black finish.
@@wmc128 I haven't seen other than black 😕
@@gatoborracho4572 They exist but it's not common. It's not unusual to see the opposite though, CrV sockets that are black.

The 1/2 and 3/4 is the same gun just different envil
So your half inch has an adapter AND your not using a high output battery in that but you are on your 3/4s? This is useless
where’s your 3/4 and 1/2 in to do a video
Какой лучше то?!
depends what size socket you use most 1/2 gun vs 3/4 gun they are both very powerful, if you work on heavy equipment i would suggest the 3/4 version
Cool

Snap-On is better
Due to your poor choice of socket you've lost all credibility. Stick to landscaping.
