  • It's vital to get the right workflow to deal with the multiple frames we capture on an architectural photography or real estate photo shoot. So in this tutorial I share my process for organising my images.
We look at the best methods for stacking the photos and I share my two pass approach to renaming the photos properly in Lightroom.
While the idea of good organisation isn't glamourous it certainly will save you a lot of time going forward. And following the same system over and over gives you confidence in the way your photos are archived from jobs.
I hope this guide is useful to you. I put a lot of work into it. So if it is helpful I'd love to hear from you! Thanks so much for watching! 🙏 and share the love with a thumbs up and/or a comment 😄

So much good information, thank you for taking the time!
On the detail shots, is there a big difference in the final images between those and the wider shots consisting of 5+ raw images?

Would be great to hear more about pricing Anthony.
Plus as additional feedback, I'm interested your process at a shoot, maybe others are too.
Loving your tutorials by the way.
    Cheers

Thanks Anthony for creating this video. I'm always seeking ways to become more efficient and this will really help. One question for you....how do you share your proofs with the client? Dropbox? PhotoShelter? Etc? Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt. I've always used Dropbox for the proofing process. I got about 21gb free for referrals when they first started up so for me that works really well.

@@archiphoto That’s great, thanks. I wish I would’ve referred more people when I had the chance!

Coming back from a photoshoot, have you ever felt that you didn't take the right amount of pictures?

Hi mate. No I always cover myself with more than I need. Because I sell licences per photo it's in my best interest to give the client plenty of options. That inspires me to capture plenty of variety.

Hey, I don't know if this would be possible, but would you be able to offer some of your raw files for download, so we can practice everything you're explaining to us? Might be pretty helpful for tutorials where you're showing how to merge HDR's, etc. :)

    • @archiphoto
      @archiphoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi mate. That's a good idea and I'll see what I can do. The issue is I'm usually on site for a commercial client and so sharing files from that shoot can open up some issues around ownership, privacy of the home owner etc. I'll definitely keep it in mind though in case there's an opportunity. Potentially I could do some examples in my own house, although it's not quite as nice as a lot of the places I'm fortunate enough to visit!

Would be cool to see how you incorporate flash and your different ambient exposures, for say the kitchen looking from exterior shots.
    Great video!
