Awesome video Stan, tons of info!!! I’m so excited about their storage system, looking forward to seeing it in person. I like the longer videos, can’t get enough of this stuff. Take care
Nice video, I like these types of videos the way you've done this because I get a feeling of being there. For review videos then editing it together is the done thing but for events like this it is about the experience.
YES PLEASE ILL HAVE 2 OF EACH🙏🏻 This is every contractors DISNEY WORLD, hands down, rather be at any brands “tool setup” like this than outside at a park standing in lines 😅
I get where she's coming from talking battery run times with "experienced users". I've got an electric chain saw, and I've let people use it. Most people still rev it up like its gas.
Awesome video Stan. These guys really know their stuff and are kind and nice, they dont come across as douchey. I watched the whole thing and love the long form video contenr, and am glad they are having these events again. 8 uears is ancient in the tool world, and i think thats why Milwaukee filled the void. User engagement matters, and im glad you took us through it all.
im a dewalt man, always have been but i have to admit through gritted teeth that makita do the biggest range and the best tools. hey makita, do a special deal to buy my current dewalt tools and i will swap to makita… that would be an industry game changer take my dewalt tools for tool, you give me a 25% discount on your impact driver and i will give you my dewalt impact driver thats not a bad idea because once i have makita tools and batterys im tied in to makita as i have been with dewalt for 31yrs… ps if milwankeee is reading this… nahh son, nahhhh
Yep, one time investment for the batteries though. Also less maintainance on the battery tools and no horrid carb troubles... And the lack of noise and fumes...
Why are they measuring the blowers in Newtons? I'm guessing their CFM numbers are not competitive and they don't want to look bad. So they use Newtons, as it's a scale that no one else uses.
26:00 I don't like that there's no flip up function for the small brush, having it sit on the ground while pushing it forward will destroy that brush in no time. I do like that it can pick up stuff that is not just dust, the one I've used (not Makita) couldn't pickup cut off tyraps, which is extremely annoying.
Great video and very informative introductions to the new product line up. However, nothing new for the Hammer/Drill Driver, LXT or XGT line up? thank you!
That Makita storage system is pretty nice. Adding a third stack is pretty cool, but I'd like to see the ability to add a set of wheels, and/or reposition the handle for a more ergonomic setup
I was a Milwaukee guy for about 22 years. I switch to Makita and have been pretty happy. I am a bit pissed off now about XGT. Not too long after I tooled up with $thousands$ in Makita LXT, they came out with XGT. Since there is no compatibility, most of the inovation or new versions of tools is in a platform I didnt invest in. Other brands come out with upgraded tools and batteries that stayed within the 18v line that compete or outperform Makita 40v. Also, as an owner of a plumbing company, they havent came out with any press, expantion, or crimp tools. We have eveyone tooled out with Milwaukee in those tools. That is probably the bigest reason NOBODY I know in plumbing has Makita tools. When we need new company tools including Jackhammers, concrete saw, core drill, roto hammer, press tool, expansion tool, the guys want Milwaukee. My Makita LXT feels like a separate line similar to DeWalt or Milwaukee 12v. If you want the big boy tools you have to be in their 18v line. Makita, you want the big boy tools, you have to be in the 40v line. Since im thinking about upgrading from LXT, it might not be XGT. It could be another brand.
Its dumb to be honest, they should've went straight to 60v if they were changing batteries anyways. They're just making their customers replace everything they have so in a few years they will come up with a 60 or 80v new battery system called ZXT. 40v is dumb unless its compatible with 20v tools
I just hope that Makita doesn’t start changing their batteries the way to Walt dead I have a lot of Makita tools and I don’t want to have to buy new ones.
The toolbox shows you taking it out of the truck I would like to see how you put it in the truck obviously going to be breaking it down it's going to slide everywhere in your truck again let him break it down install that in the truck and the other thing floating tools in boxes is really not a good idea if you take it up some stairs all your tools are going to more or less be bang together and if you have a bunch of screwdrivers pliers hand tools in general it's going to be all mixed up because nothing is secured because you have a system that lays down and when moving it it's at a 45 degree angle I know you're excited but the new Makita drill impact what would be the price point should I asked a question and another thing with the pairing up the battery to the tool they're still going to steal the tool and is still going to steal the battery the only thing that going that they can't use is a usage due to the pairing up code end of the day you're still missing the tool or the battery should incorporate Apple air bud or tracking device GPS especially in the batteries batteries for power the tool you'll be able to find your tool when when in use thanks for the preview though appreciate it
Holy Crap , Iam soo glad I have a DeWalt Multi-Tool with its Super Fast Blade Change , you have to do like 4 or 5 step to change that Blade on the New Makita with the Star Lock 🤮🤢🤮
The have completely dumped the lxt and 40 v cell batteries are old school ,one cell down and battery is finished ,need to be pouch batteries, plus 40 v battery none compatible with any lxt Makita tools ,Makita purely asleep unlike Dewalt flexvolt out for years
If I didn’t have to drive, almost an hour each way to buy Makita tools. That’s the only brand I would ever own. I love the quality of their stuff, ingenuity, and the fact that they just want to put their battery system on anything and everything possible under the sun. It’s incredibly annoying to have different brands of electric tools because then they use different chargers and batteries. I’d like everything to be the same. And the fact is definitely on the expensive side of things. On top of being a 2 Hour Dr. round-trip for me to buy them. Since I don’t like buying stuff like that online.
Honestly tools must cost these companies 2 dollars to make. The profit margins must be absolutely huge to pay all these people over the world. The new storage system looks rubbish
i love that makita is doing this stuff and showing more interest in the north american market this is exciting glad you covered this for us
Awesome video Stan, tons of info!!! I’m so excited about their storage system, looking forward to seeing it in person. I like the longer videos, can’t get enough of this stuff. Take care
Each booth person is pretty knowledgeable. Impressive.
Makita is King again. I own yellow and red everyrhing, but recently jumped to XGT. And i will be adding Maktrak to my fleet of tools and storage.
That’s cool you got to interview the CEO/President of Makita.
That XGT pin system is pretty slick.
I knew Makita made a lot of stuff, but holy cow there are a lot of tools on display 😂
They have some top notch killer stuff coming out...ive been waiting for that impact wrench!!

Good job Makita.
Awesome video. I learned alot. Keep up the awesome work.
I really wasn't expecting them to release the big boy XGT impact in 1/2'' drive but I can't wait!
Keep it coming from Phill and Sarah Parnham from New Zealand 😊

I definitely liked the contending roller box
48 batteries vs 2 gallons of fuel 3000 dollars vs 10 dollars 😢
Yep, one time investment for the batteries though. Also less maintainance on the battery tools and no horrid carb troubles... And the lack of noise and fumes...

Every manufacturer is using newtons.
Because its how you measure rockets. Force output at the nozzle

43:00 Those are some very handy functions!

Love your video
Watching form Philippines 🇵🇭
I'm with you show it all, If parts aren't of interest just skip it
Are they any closer with a more heavy duty commercial mower?
Can the microphone plug into any of the Job site speakers or just the master
The XGT should have been made compatible with the LXT, Dewalt did something similar years ago and they almost went bankrupt.
Dewalt is rubbish though

@@zaxmaxlax They already have 80v tools, such as the breaker in this vid you just watched, using the 40v batteries.
@@Mikkel-Hansen Which is stupid. Why not use a 80v battery in the first place or a single 60v battery
Love the questions you ask.
Vince is awesome.
Excellent video Stan!!
How does the OMT vibrate side to side?
Very informative.
Thanks Sir, made the right buy👍💪
Great new tools but what about that work bench ??
Stan will you be at GIE expo? I’m an exhibitor there and am working on starting my own side gig, it would be cool to get to talk to you.
ahh a company that's not afraid to show who its competitors are!!
Was there a battery tablesaw? I was skipping around and didn't see a tablesaw😮
When are they going to release a battery snow blower?
Thanks Stan 👍👍
😮😮😮 the Odells are here love Makita
All I heard was framing nailer q1
Blade of grass showed a big charger for batteries you can take with you did you see it
What an event!
I just hope that Makita doesn’t start changing their batteries the way to Walt dead I have a lot of Makita tools and I don’t want to have to buy new ones.
Model # of that impact driver?
Late answer but it's XDT20 / DTD173 / TD173.
Is all of the new stuff xgt and not lxt?
I think I saw an lxt cutoff tool, impact driver and nail gun
@@danabenjamin3300 I think the multitool was XGT.
@@AlexKall believe i saw a lxt cutoff saw
@@danabenjamin3300 I'm probably just confused by the "cutoff saw", sorry! :)
@@AlexKall np...I think it was early in the video..
Moral of the story, buy gas tools now and get spare parts....
good job
1MILLION Video?
Not a single dust extractor was seen that day.
We need a new 18v battery.....
There will probably be a tabless battery eventually
Vcg said there would be,I hope so the "complaint" is tiring lol
Makita shark week
here to help
That modular storage is actually thought out! To not need a dang dolly..
40v tablesaw please.......
Vance where’s Flint?😂
Sarah is cute!

Wow!! That's smart tool set. Makita is outdoing other brands boxes.

so many new products, no wonder quality has suffered lately
Any particular product(s) you feel has worsened?

Makita, great tools, horrid distribution and dealer support. Zero interest in North America compared to the rest of the globe.
As of now they have kind of ratified that with the nailer.

its literallly like a plastic system i saw at the local bazaar this week for 60 euros lol
Festool just sayin
I live for that noise and smell. Electric is cool but it'll never be that cool lol. 2 stroke for life!!!
