Yifes is a commentary legend but listening to J Wong's knowledge about literally every character really made this commentary that much better. He literally knows optimization with everyone. GOAT for a reason!

This was so good, best commentators also.....Yipes is the GOAT commentator....people copy him "TO DIS DAY!" in all other fighting games commentary even in Smash. And Justin Wong imo is the most underrated commentator ever......I learn something new everytime he commentates. Please do more of this!

I don't know why but IronMan being banned from this makes me happy. He is my favorite character of all time, and this game is probably where it started when I was 4-5 years old.
We need more low tier tournaments like this. It’s a breath of fresh air not seeing the same top tier characters in every single MvC2 tournament. Especially with #freemvc2 movement gaining momentum, we need to see more of this!
Wow, VDO! Haven't heard that name in a long time. He was nice enough to visit us in Toronto for our first ever MvC2 tourney back in 2000, along with his crew. His Rogue was pretty damn great too even way back then at the beginning.
Really happy to see Sanford lose with the characters he chose. If I ran a low tier tournament I’d ban these six characters Magneto,Storm,Sentinel, Psylocke,Cyclops,Cable. Maybe Iron Man too
Yipes is the style. JWong is the substance. Pure entertainment mixed with informative commentary. Neither are cringe or annoying. Perfect to listen to.
I remember watching this almost a year ago. I was getting so hype for Marvel 2 at Evo, and just enjoying how much Yipes and Jwong were enjoying it. I was like "Jwong with that mask around his chin, playin' it safe, alright." now I'm like "What's up with that mask on your your chin JWONG, YOU TRYIN' TO KILL SOMEBODY!?"
Wish there were more low tier tournaments out there. The lack of balance and character variety can really make mvc2 a drag to play sometimes, despite how much I love it.

I love watching these low tier tournaments. You get tired of just watching Sentinel,Magneto,Storm mirror matches all the time. It's like a different game, so much more fun in my opinion with the crazy game breaking combos and gimicks between teams. Low tier all day!

Fun fact: Ken's shoryuken assist and shoryu-reppa are invincible for the first 3 frames. You can also add in a HK if your shoryu-reppa gets the opponent to the corner. BlueJ's Ken was terrible and relied on his broken air combo. Could've tatsu into low mix ups or built distance using the mk chain. Kept going for pokes with a character that doesn't poke.
There’s something I just really love about low tier tournaments I hope we get more stuff like this in other games, like KoF XIII without Mr. Karate, Flames Iori, or Kim, or USFIV without Yun or Akuma
I don't know if this is a regular event but there are a lot of low tiers that aren't just hunting for low shorts that are worth using. If Clops is still okay I think that means Anakaris, Megaman, Dhalsim are probably alright too right? If you guys keep this as an ongoing I think you'd see some good Anakarises eventually which I've always wanted to see.
