How much cost servo motor and drive/amplifier all system equipment for 4 axis CNC
help please... i have NJ 501-1520 CPU & ,CJ1W-ID212 , CJ1W-OD212 modules .i want to connect yaskawa servo (sdgv-2r8a11a) to this setup using ca1 caable.

Can you use these drives with any of the motors or only Yaskawa's motors?
+Nikola Radakovic These Servo Amplifiers can only be attached to Yaskawa motors. This is because Yaskawa uses a proprietary serial protocol to transmit the encoder data.

can i use my custom controller with any type of driver?
+zubair ali Industrial Servo Drives typically accept analog torque or speed input (+- 10 Vdc) or two-channel step-and-direction input. So if your custom controller can output a signal like this, then many AC servo drives will work. +Yaskawa America Thanks...can i use arduino to control motor? whereas arduino has 5 volt for input and output maybe i can amplify signal 5 to 10.
+zubair ali Yaskawa's servo amplifiers have a parameter that could be used to scale 0-5 volt command (from arduino) over a range of speeds or torques. The links above show an example of how to use the parameter. Keep in mind that Yaskawa manufacturers industrial-grade components. Integration with Arduino is not common.
