    Can you use these drives with any of the motors or only Yaskawa's motors?

    • @YaskawaAmerica
      @YaskawaAmerica  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Nikola Radakovic These Servo Amplifiers can only be attached to Yaskawa motors. This is because Yaskawa uses a proprietary serial protocol to transmit the encoder data.

    can i use my custom controller with any type of driver?

    • @YaskawaAmerica
      @YaskawaAmerica  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +zubair ali Industrial Servo Drives typically accept analog torque or speed input (+- 10 Vdc) or two-channel step-and-direction input. So if your custom controller can output a signal like this, then many AC servo drives will work. To see how to set this up with Yaskawa's Sigma-5, please watch. th-cam.com/play/PL5435E51FF0A13421.html. We also offer an in-house training www.yaskawa.com/pycprd/trainingdetail/detail/class/sigma-5-applications

      +Yaskawa America Thanks...can i use arduino to control motor? whereas arduino has 5 volt for input and output maybe i can amplify signal 5 to 10.

    • @YaskawaAmerica
      @YaskawaAmerica  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +zubair ali Yaskawa's servo amplifiers have a parameter that could be used to scale 0-5 volt command (from arduino) over a range of speeds or torques. The links above show an example of how to use the parameter. Keep in mind that Yaskawa manufacturers industrial-grade components. Integration with Arduino is not common.

      +Yaskawa America thanks for useful information...I have amt602v36-1000 servo motor...pls guide me what type of amplifier should i use? Is there a programmable amplifier also available in the market? amplifier operating voltage should be 220v ac.
