That means baby name was not added to the birth certificate. You have to give an application to the birth/death department along with the birth certificate without name, application letter signed by parents and attach the photo ID cards of parents along with it

Birth certificate usually contains 2 addresses. Address at the time of birth and permanent address. First one you cant change, second one you can change by giving application offline
I have received birth certificate from hospital but had not decided on name so the name space is blank should we register online or can I write name in the blank space
You have to go to the birth/death registration office with a copy of this blank certificate and an application to add childs name mentioning the child's name and parents details and sign at the bottom and attach photo ID proofs of parents. They will add the name, and then next time when you download online, name will be there in the certificate.

Sorry to say that there is no online process for the name update. You have to go to main birth/death registrar office, give copy of this birth certificate (without name), an application to add the name along with kid's name signed by parents of the kid at the bottom. (Also attach photo copy of parents photo ID cards). After submission collect the acknowledgement from them (you can take 2 copies of the handwritten letter and tell them to acknowledge in one)

If it was done in a hospital, it should have been already registered. (Frst please check with the hospital whether they have done it). If so, please search online as shown in this video with parents details. If not at all registered, you need to go to the main Birth/Death registration office and get it registered with hospital birth record documents as well as parents photo ID proofs and address proofs.

Very helpful video, it's so easy. But one thing without authority seal is it vailid certificate.
If digitally signed, you dont need any manual seal and sign. If not signed digitally, you have to take it and go to the respective panchayath/municipality and get their seal and sign

My son born in Karnataka & birth was registered in Karnataka, but now I'm in Tamilnadu.
So by using this website we can download the birth certificate without "Digital Sign", so problem is the Tamilnadu Local Panchayat or municipal will not put Sheel & Signature on the Karnataka registered birth certificate.

Please try to download as shown in the video shown above. If you are successfully able to download it, just check whether it is digitally signed (There will be QR or scan code) If so, you dont need manual seal and sign from any one. If it is manual copy (without QR code) then you might need to take the print out of it and go to the village/panchayath in Karnataka where it was registered and need to get a seal and sign on it. But most of the case you will get digital one online.

You might need to go and get No-availability of birth certificate from your concerned village/panchaya/municipal authority and get your birth registered through court order

Since it is 2016, you cant do anything online now. Better to visit Khandaya Bhavana with your details of the child and get it enrolled. It might be not instant and easy process, but you have to do it that way

Not possible online. You need to give offline application as of now. Just call once 1902 and ask the process online possible or not

Can you please tell me procedure to apply for a new birth certificate? I mean, child was born in 2015 in a hospital in bangalore but we didn't apply for it since then.
You need to go Majestic, Khandaya Bhavan building, inside there will be Birth/Death registration section. Give an application there for birth data addition along with hospital delivery and discharge and birth details. Also attach a written application to add child's name in the birth certificate along with parents signed, along with parent photo ID card copies (self attested). Then it should get added, any issues if you face there, just call SAKAALA and raise a concern/complaint : 080-4455 4455.
Before starting the above process, just once call and check with your hospital whether they are registering the births. Usually hospitals are supposed to register the births happening there, if so they would have registered your kids birth too. Please check which is the mobile number you gave that time, that mobile would have received an SMS with registration number
