After watching your goodos for yabbies videos, I decided to try dog kibble in a net overnight in the Murray. no yabbies, but a dozen or more big shrimp, so seems they like the goodos as well.

Hi mate, this video was filmed with a GoPro hero5. The lizard video were filmed with a Panasonic G9 with a 100-300 lens. Some of the photos were taken with a Canon EOS 7D mk2. I often use my Canon G7x mk2 and my G9x mk2 as well as various microphones. The video is edited using Movavi video editor.
@@robbiefishing apparently muddy dams are better and separating the males and females makes the grow faster but they won't reproduce if you do. That idea is more for yabby farming.
hey great vid as always Robbie, just quickly about the Gambusia, I too agree that they should be left out of the water, but I think it's more humane to step on them quickly than leaving them on the bank to suffocate, each to their own however, keep up the good work!
One of my biggest pet hates is seeing fish left to die a slow death, and that includes carp. So the gambusia should not be any different. I'm on your wavelength mate. Sometimes with small critters it is easy to not think properly.
robbiefishing same here! For little gambusia or even tiny Redfin as I said before by far the quickest is to squash them with a big boot if they shouldn’t be returned

Hi Gary, no mate I just enjoy different techniques. In the yabby video prior to this called "yabbying with Jodiebthe spider girl" I was using them. I do like that I can bait these up with dog food as they have a pouch. I dont have to go to the supermarket, buy lambs fry and then get covered in blood. LOL
Can buy a delicates bag that you use in the dryers/washing at the cheapo shop for around $2 that you could use in them to hold the dry dog food.. As I said though I'm yet to see one of those new traps yield big numbers .🤔 Do a video and prove me wrong before I change mine over can you mate.😎

As well I searched up gambusia and it come up with mosquito fish the same fish that you see in the videos from the people in the USA and I did not no they put them in Australia waters I’m surprised it wasn’t another food source for cod and yellow belly and it wouldn’t be bad because obviously the bass love them which they seem to be quite similar to the Murray cod

We only got Bonnie recently under the Greyhound Adoption Program. We had her 1 day and she broke her leg so badly that it had to be amputated. Such a horrible time. But she is OK now and is as happy as ever.
