They did the same to Ariki!! No weather vaneing into the wind transitioning from motor to sail along with what you did it for!

And more info about mast height :-) Also want space to stand :-) The keel idea is cool , will check back , not sure I can retro fit one as the one hull is made .
Have a good day . Very cool workshop , I just have a beat up 400cc Kawa in mine :-)

@@sailingmoaiawharramtiki2615 , cool thanks , does seem to make sense for rudder protection , ideal for a beach landing . If it helps sailing , even better . The big boats have it for protection :-) The hull I am interested in was wired . Been neglected for years , will spend a day just to look inside .
Had advice to send the pictures to Hanneke , 2 times :-)
Chainsaw + labour $60 , no big deal :-) Then can see.
If it passes the test , then the fun begins :-)
Re purpose my place to make it viable , de clutter on an huge scale :-) Sell, give away or dump :-) Some horticultual work too :-)
Finish the one hull paint etc , store covered outside , 2nd hull have a lot of board in the deal , some glass too . Seller says put an heavier mat along the bottom . Make sure the extra keel is soild .
Rigging :-) I will have to sign up for a sailing course , back to the habour tomorrow , a bigger Wharram there . Maybe catch the Commodore :-) Lives aboard .
Have a few local places to visit , live on the 'Wild Coast ' of South Africa .
Going off shore is another issue . All that tech stuff . like a toilet and solar panels , wind vane , batteries and a gas cooker , I have a small fridge freezer that could work .
Must get into the plans , the hulls are basic , more head room is cool , just more space for stuff .
Then to the cockpit , once both hulls are ready . While under construction make all use of available space , off shore is not all wine and roses .
Then mast height , am in no rush to get there be cool to make 5knts , so a super yacht does it half the time , big deal .
Have other of your videos to watch , have a great weekend .

We’ll it took me 2 1/2 years but that was before I retired and could spend more time on the build. I worked out of town a lot so there were weeks I couldn’t work on the boat. It could be done in a year if you had the time or some help

The hulls are designed to flex, so how can the centre superstructure not be destroyed by the flex.?

Could you go over the evolution of your standing rig?
