I started using Milanote too because of you guys and I received comments like “wow this is very professional” or like “this platform is so clean”. So I highly recommend it as well!
omg I thought I was the only one that got excited with the queen's gambit color scheme and stills. thank you for creating a safe space to fangirl together lolol
Recreate is certainly one of best ways to learn, practice more angles, framings and how to tell a story! I loved! I'm so inspired after this video! Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind is one of my favorite movies at all !!!
I've been wanting to do a shoot inspired by The Queen's Gambit since I watched the series. Now I know I'm not the only one who felt so strongly about each scene.
guys i dont know how i missed this video - but ugh perfection really! im trying to grow in photography and can have trouble of how to organize my mind but I love how you guys made it so simple!
Omg thank you so much for this video. I used to randomly make moodboards on Pinterest but I don't use it so often. Gotta make more moodboards from now on to get some inspo.
I normally draw inspiration from almost everything but I never knew how to document it and keep it for later use but this video and Milanote (of course) just gave me a great idea on how to do this.
you guys should get the milanote plugin so you don't have to copy-paste photos, you can just hit the save key when you hover over the image (like the pinterest button).
Thanks Mango Street for your always inspiring videos! I loved this one! It's definitely something I'm leaning more towards - being inspired by other art forms. because social media/Instagram has become almost boring and photography has lost (for the most part) its essence of storytelling....
This is just what I needed today Thanks guys 🥰 Can you talk about how to book locations and models when you don't have a huge budget? I can often get friends involved but how do you find and pay for a locations? Thanks for these videos they're so awesome Love you guys so much 😽
"Mantra" - I'm Indian and because it's a sanskrit word let me tell you the pronunciation for fun. MAN(mun-Like pun) TRA(like the T is not very sharp sounding) we have a distinction between those sounds.
I'm really inspired by tolerate it from evermore but just didnt know how to translate it into a photoshoot, this video is exactly what i needed. Have so many ideas now!! Also, I started using milanote cause of you guys and its been so much fun!
i always wanna base my pictures off of films but my friends just cant do it. they often think of this model like poses on instagram. i want spontaneous poses as if it is a movie you paused.
a mood board is a place where you put all of your inspiration for a shoot to set you up for success and get your whole team on the same page. in this video, we made four different mood boards based on mediums that weren’t photography because our viewers have been asking about how to do that frequently for awhile now.
feel free to do photoshoots based off of these moodboards and tag us when you post the final shots! app.milanote.com/1LyWTh1hoB2Mar?p=UDkGOS45akO

after doing a photo shoot based off these things like the movies, what do you do with the photos? sell them on stock photography?
Very nice video. Do you know that there is a chrome plugin to put the pictures directly into your boards? Much love from Switzerland :)
For those who are stuck in a creative rut. No worries. It happens
Question: Do you use a strobe light to shootout Times
the love i have for y'all is insane
👍🏼🔥
Is milamote free or is it a subscription based service?
Is it too creepy to say that I love you? Cuz I love you 🖤
How did you move the color palette from photoshop to milanote?
we just made it a jpeg and imported it.
When you're legitimately early for once and you don't know what to say.
What's your favorite book?
i always wanna base my pictures off of films but my friends just cant do it. they often think of this model like poses on instagram. i want spontaneous poses as if it is a movie you paused.
instead of telling them to pose, have them act out a feeling that the movie evokes. give them a character to play 👍
Funny how you guys love “the ghost story” and Rachel looks like Rooney Mara lol. I know I can’t be the only one who thinks this.
Got lost early. Could not follow what you were doing or why or fully understand what you would do with it. Maybe just tired.

When you have kids, will you teach them photography? Any babies in the future?
Great video, thank you!
