Cool . Do it in real conditions. I could easily make the robotics with Arduino or Rassberry Pi. Very cool but I think it is over engineered. I do the same thing, think about what I need and make it. However it would never sell to the public. It is rewarding to make items that most peiople cannot even begin to know where to start.
