They both started out in broadway but I think the diffence in there voice because lea likes singing like that and loves broadway kinda songs but Ariana goes for a more pop kinda broadway sound so she makes her voice more pop kinda sound but with a little bit of broadway flare

Their singing voices are somewhat very different, ik Ariana belts a bit but within reason to make it sound great. But Lea belts a lot and adds cries on many of the lyrics. So I think their singing technique/style is way different. Depending on how you like your songs to be sang then it’s either pop or id say Broadway, I also know that Ari is trained in Broadway singing. Personally I’ve been a fan of Ari for a very long time ever since I saw her on the first ep of Victorious so I like her singing more. But both of their voices are very powerful in kinda similar ways, they both belt to their full extent but in my opinion I think Lea tries to belt more then she should and Ik that’s her type and how she likes it if I tried to do that I’m pretty sure I’d lose my voice in seconds. So yeah they both sing very differently but if Ariana did her Broadway voice it wouldn’t be so different, I think (I’m not sure) that Lea cant hit whistle notes.
