I love this recommendation of sleep! It takes reading books to find people recommending sleep, because mainstream media cannot put sleep in a package and sell it to us, so many people don't realise how important a good night of sleep is!
Nice! I coach all my SAT/ACT students to exercise the morning of their exams. Brain health is the widely ignored in the test-prep world, but it's clearly a big deal. :)

I agree that sleep is very important. thank you for sharing how much sleep the elite athletes gets. do you have specific tips on how to improve sleep including staying asleep?
+Daniel Bjorndahl I'm going to create a Sleep 101 class next year. For now, my biggest personal practice is to turn off all electronics when the sun goes down. Then it's super (!) easy to go to sleep early and wake up early without an alarm feeling refreshed. That's obviously extreme.
