I had got this as a gift and lost it in the huge fire here in california. I reached out them and they are sending me a new one to replace the lost one. This is a straight up stand up company

I had actually kinda gave up I asked a few times about it and they were waiting on stock since then are always out On Amazon and were always selling out. Then one day I get home and it had snowed and I see boot prints in the snow and I follow them to my detached shop. I open the door and low and behold a huge ass black box from primeweld! My brother happened to be the UPS guy on the route and didn’t wanna leave in the open so he out in the shop ( I was kinda tripped out they would just walk in my shop so I figured he might have had the route so I called he and he started laughing and he was like I didn’t think you wanted that on the porch while you were at work even though your in the mountains) so yes they are an amazing company and there customer service is out of this world. If there’s ever trouble with the machine they usually ship you a new one instead of making you wait for the repair I was blow away

It's a good machine when the duty cycle of the machine surpasses the duty cycle of the operator.
Quite frankly I never really trust people reviewing products... however, this guy right here truly knows what he’s doing and I’m 100 sure he gives his most honest opinion about things, I’m really happy to have come across this channel 💪🏼 this guy is 10/10 the best channel out there.

I realize this review is over a year old, but wanted to note that as of November 2019, PrimeWeld began shipping this unit with a new (more traditional, center-pivot) foot pedal. Have had my unit for two months, and couldn't be happier.

2 years later and I can confirm, the same outcome! I bought my machine last week and been using it this week, thank god It comes with different stuff now, especially the foot peddel.
I own 5 welders AHP, Everlast and Hobart and happy with all of them. This company has really caught my eye lately. Great reviews and most speak very highly of their customer support and seem to honor there warranty as expected.
I've read and heard they make some of the best plasma cutters out there also with better than most attachments. I think I'm going to get their 60 amp just to look at it.

Just got one last month. Its great. Better pedal now so only gripe is the fans, but who cares if it welds great?
@@olecranonrebellion9976 I do most shop work with ear plugs in.....fan problem solved! LOL! They push a lot of air. I'd rather have that welder be nice and cool inside and deal with noise than a thermal shutdown.

Justin, you convinced me. In September 2020 I placed my orders due it got here in less than 5 days even during a pandemic like wow!! This thing is fantastic. Packing is exactly as shown in your video. Thank You, Thank You. They have a very good customer service. Because of your videos I didn’t have to ask them any dumb questions.
I love my Primeweld TIG225 so much I also bought a Primeweld Cut60 plasma torch to make a CNC plasma table out of. One of the great things about Primeweld products is the fact that they really do have 24/7 service. Twice I have had a question and sent an email on a Sunday afternoon and both times I had a useful answer within an hour or less. Also, the new, upgraded foot pedal works great.
I've been shopping for a TIG/stick combo and watching this one. Your review made me pull the trigger on it. Thank you. Man your skills are amazing.
Just ordered one. It looks like they have improved the foot pedal since this video. Love your videos and never having tig welded before I'm sure I'm going to have your videos going nonstop while learning.
After watching Justin's review, I purchased this machine in Jan 2022 and I have no regrets! This is a great beginner machine and a great value; my machine included the new pedal upgrade. I've MIG and stick welded for many years but this is my first experience with TIG. Thanks to Justin's fantastic videos and the quality of this machine, I learned quickly and my results are very good. I'm learning every day and having fun doing it as I've become the whole neighborhood's resource for little welding favors!
It now comes with a legit pedal, no need to have to replace it. Going to order mine soon

@@msand951 Finally got my gas hooked up and used it today. Not a TIG expert but it definitely shot some fire out of the torch, so I'd say rock and roll
Mine has the old foot pedal. I can't stand it. I should have waited a little longer. I use the finger switch mostly now.
I can confirm this is correct. Mine came in this week with the upgraded pedal, it was the first thing I checked when I cracked the box. They upgraded box too, like it matters, but now it is colorful cardboard instead of the standard brown. :-) Ships ground out of NJ, at least mine did, so that will give you an idea of shipping time to where you live. I get to start breaking the unit in today, time to run a circuit upgrade in the garage and burn some rods until my bottle comes in.
This is the machine I bought after researching everything I could find online. I absolutely love this machine. I’m glad to see another reputable review on it. After upgrading the foot pedal it really is a great machine. It’s a far better welder than I am!
I have one myself and absolutely love it. Super smooth! I was have some trouble with the stick settings and primeweld forwarded me the number of the guy that tested the machine and was super helpful. I've even had to use this machine at work. Can't recommend enough.
I literally have this machine sitting in a box in the shop floor. After watching this review, I'm ready to open it up.

After watching your review I knew this was the welder I needed. I ordered one on 12/27/18. My delivery date had some issues and I was emailed possibly another week, from Amazon, which isn't going to work. You said Primeweld had excellent customer service and I found out how excellent. I sent an email at 9 pm EST last night and within minutes received a call. Issue resolved. I have never had excellent customer service like this in 60 years. This is a one in a million company that cares about its customers. If your in the market you can not go wrong with Primeweld. 10 thumbs up to Mark, my contact, excellent service. I should get my machine today.
It's been over a year since I first saw this video. At the time I didn't even think about starting welding. Just this weekend I finally ordered one after thinking about it for a few months. I'm excited to get started.

Got mine a week ago off the bay 775.00 love it FINALLY A REVIEW ON THE TUBE arron at 6061 has one but did a 6061 vid short and sweet but you just showed me ton about the machine thank god !!!!!started running beads while your vid was going thanks agin!!!!!! glad i got a good one !!!!!!!!!

Justin, I like what your doing. You have a very good informative channel. For 50 years TIG was and is my specialty. These new machines are amazing. I still use my 2000 Miller 250 square wave and it does just fine. As for pulse I use my foot control. HAHA Keep up the good work.
I learned TIG 'back in the day' when we had to figure it out without fancy features. All the nifty settings and adjustments are tools - not crutches. But I'm definitely excited to see them as an OEM function. Not needed - but really nice.
I bought this welder last year based on the recommendation in this video. I have to say I am very impressed with PrimeWeld. They are high quality machines. I have the mig, tig and plasma and they all work as advertised.

I bought mine last week, I called customer service today with some questions about the pulse control. No one answered the phone.
Update: called again today, I talked to George for a long time. He is great at helping figuring out what I was doing wrong. Customer service after the sell is awesome.
I bought my unit in late November 2019. Have reached out to PrimeWeld via email a few times, and my questions were answered quickly and with detailed answers. Between the fantastic customer service, the extended warranty (with return shipping), solid construction of the unit and the high quality CK torch, this is an exceptional unit.

Just letting everyone know that this machine now comes with a standard type foot pedal. Not that funky one as shown in this review. Just got mine in Jan 2020 thanks to this review.

I was looking at the Yes Welder and the rabble of other Amazon cheap welders. Saw this review and spent some time checking it out. I don’t spend money lightly ( cheap f…), but pulled the trigger. It arrived in less than 2 weeks across the border to Canada!! Packaging was flawless and was excited to get going ( hadn’t done any welding in over 40 years - TIG welding is on my bucket list!! Never having used tig before I had major trouble getting to work….. turns out the foot pedal was pooched from the get go.
I hooked up the finger trigger and amazingly was welding ( not pretty but first time they looked like welds !!! Anyway. 1 email and a brand new foot pedal arrived within the week ( again to Alberta Canad )
Worked perfect and they said ‘ just keep the old one for parts’. It’s been awesome in every way. Great company and service.
Really nice... I've been looking at tig welders for learning Tig..... I've never tig welded and I don't want to blow a lot of money on one to learn....but I also don't want a piece of crap... this will definitely be in my choices.. Thanks for reviewing it.....

Honest Abe the dude who has the 6061 channel made a vid on this too. He said he likes this machine better because it has preflow. Ahp does not. I went with primeweld. But I’m sure both choices are great options

This video is the reason I bought this welder and my first big task was welding Ford 9" housing ends on a Ford 8.8 axle. I did just find that CK-17 torch doesn't like 225a for long though. haha Great video!

Got mine a week ago and was actually very impressed with the packaging. I suck at welding still and am learning how to use all the settings but the machine works great so far.
I love it, Such a fantastic machine, And it comes with a badass tig torch and great packaging all for very cheap compared to the competition, I couldn't justify 2-3-4-5 grand on a welding machine for hobby work, but this was a fantastic kit for 1000 dollars.
Old video, but I’m at two years with the 225 and freakin love it. As of two years ago they updated the pedal to a better option too…
I just ordered this machine it’s my first TIG welder , it arrives this coming Friday. I got the water cooler option with the water cooled torch tip just in case I needed it.

Spud Kai - Yes....mine arrived with the good foot pedal, and like said here in his review, it I’d packaged impressively well! I ordered from Amazon so that I’d have them to fall mack on in the event of a problem. Very happy with it!

Dude you aluminum work looked really good, i already have a brand new miller multimatic 255, but i want to get something cheap for doing aluminum because i don't really do it all that often but i want the capability, i think this is gonna be the machine for me!

Bought this welder a few weeks ago. It now comes with the SCC pedal. And they're not kidding about customer support. I called for more info on the warranty, and they actually answered the phone!!!
I called yesterday just to ask some questions. Left a voicemail, got a call back in less than 5 minutes. Mike was great to talk to and very helpful. I'm choosing a PrimeWeld over the Everlast 200DV due to that, warranty including shipping, etc.
I have been researching AHP 200x and the Everlast 200dv for over a year now trying to make a decision and get as much info as possible. This video and talking to Mike at primeweld on the phone has made my decision real easy. No more struggling over yellow or green. Black is going to get my money as soon as they are in stock. And, if it breaks, I'm not shelling out cash to pay to have it ship both ways. This, i think, is going to make yellow and green have to step up and start doing the same thing or get left behind. Not to mention the primeweld includes a CK torch with a super flex cable. Nuff said.

Just bought one of these, and the packaging is even better than that now. Mine arrived with steel bottom corner reinforcement and plastic in the top corners. And a better pedal.

My $150 welder came with an earth and stinger the same as these. The tig torch, flex as well, that's pretty high end for sure.
