What a beautiful cuckoo wrasse ... I remember my first one, from North Beach, Greystones ... I had cast to a rock pinnacle/ mound some 30 metres from shore ... It fell to half a sandeel and rag bait ... I have never forgotten how thrilled I was ... Even moreso than my first double figure bass ...

Another great one, even if it didn't completely go to plan, better luck next time. Your videos always bring back many happy memories. Way back when I did my sea fishing we didn't have those lures or that strong fine line and mono was more like wire than the supple stuff you have, consequently we had to use much heavier leads and so didn't have the fun you do on your light but strong tackle. Your enthusiasm is a real delight to see. Keep catching those dogfish!

You should make a range of merchandise with the phrase "They're absolutely covered in spines!" since this seems to be a bit of a catchphrase for you! Don't know how many times I've heard you say that!! LOL

Love the channel, great content. That bottom rig is quite the sight for what im used to. 32 beads in alternating colors, multiple blades and then you still tip it with huge worms and cut bait? Clearly it works but i gotta think theres an easier way to do that. You've got different names for everything but on this side its called a hi/lo rig. Loop on the bottom for a weight, two dropper loops one 6-8" above the weight and another 8-12" above that. Slip on some hooks and tip with bait. A 3 way rig would most likely work too. Not bashing your setup just thought id throw out some ideas for a few rigs that are cheaper/quicker to tie. Stay safe and catch em up. Always look forward to the next vid.

I have travelled the world over and the rigs don’t really change do they. Just their names. 😉🤣

Have you ever shown what a rag worm looks like? I often wonder how our baits compare. My favorite is fishing with lures, trolling at twilight. We aim for pickerel aka walleye. We also use leeches, dew worms, even corn kernels.

In many of our earlier videos I spent a lot of time discussing baits. 👍🏻

Hey buddy, I found you from one of Haze’s vids. I’ll be honest, I’ve not fished since I was a kid with my dad but I’ve watched a few of your videos now and I find myself getting a reel interest for it 😆( sorry for the pun!lol) I’d like to learn more so going to start watching your shore fishing playlist…that’s before you mentioned sharks! Ive gotta find that one first 😎 atb mate, Ant

Haze is a good lad isn't he. We have a lot of videos aimed at the angling beginners so I hope you find them helpful. But also for the thrill seekers the shark fishing, the deeps ea wrecking and even the TUNA vid will be worth a watch.
