Just for the people who are not familiar with him: half of the classical records of concertos and caprice in the record story have been covered by this man. He worked with every orchestra in every state and he is been prolific since the 50’s. It’s a pure joy to see him still humble and down to earth.

I was just thinking of the same thing! :) I don't remember how old I was when I saw it, just that I was very little (I also don't know if I saw it as a rerun). My parents knew who he was and liked him before he did that appearance, so they were thrilled when I would get excited about seeing him on tv every time after that.

All due respect to your comment being five years old, your math is off.
He appeared on “Shalom Sesame’ in 1987, when he was 42.
      Not a ‘very young boy.’
He and Toby had been married for 22 years by then, and were parents.

@@Quaker-tc8ue The commenters meant that they were very young when the saw Itzhak on Sesame St. Neither of them mentioned the age of 5, that I can see.

What a coincidence!!! I just re-watched Schindler’s List an hour ago & got so moved by the theme song, I went to TH-cam to see a live performance of the song & instead, The Late Night Show, which I subscribe to, uploaded this episode! Amazing coincidence!!!

You mean the 160,000 deaths that make the US having the worst per capita deaths from the pandemic while the majority of the developed world has negligible infection rates? Or the worst recession since the great depression? How about the largest percentage gains in national debt? Or maybe the sitting president who is trying to undermine the elections? Which one proves that Republicans have governed in any sense that can be considered rational?

This is also a lesson in coping with JEALOUSY!
Itzhak Perlman comes out in a wheel chair. He could have been siting down , to begin with. I think he did this to show us his disability, to inspire us. But also, to show humility, so we would not feel jealous of him, because of his great talent.
Jealousy can be disabling, in many subtle ways.... THANKS MUCH Harry www.SavingSchools.org
