Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. I acknowledge that I have sinned and that I cannot save myself. I was an atheist for around 15 years. Over the last year or so I finally found my faith. I've gotten the occasional glimpse of a feeling before. Like a caring hand on my shoulder. Tonight I began properly reading the bible and I just started crying. But it was such a comfortable feeling. I felt forgiven without even having to ask.
I never thought I'd find myself to be a Christian, but now I am I never want to go back. This is the right way, I feel.

I know that feeling. I was blessed to be overcome by the Holy Spirit when I asked God to show himself to me in a way that could not be denied. It felt like I was swept up in the most peaceful love and purity and bliss. It was incredible. The best thing i have ever felt. That was a feeling I’ve always wanted and I was sure when I experienced it that it could only be experienced through God. Nothing on this earth can possibly come close. Jesus’ love for us is immeasurable and infinite. I know money and other material things will never get me that feeling. Only the Lord.

I got the holy spirit one time an I started crying it felt like a fire inside my body but it felt so good nothing on earth can compare to that feeling it felt so good I was crying with joy

Yes the Holy Spirit can be comforting and there is a fire maybe it's different for everyone but since words were flowing from the Holy Spirit out of me and I was just a vessel I think that's why I got overwhelmed it just happened right now that's why I looked for videos, because I felt really drunk but I wasn't drinking and I felt really like high but I'm not doing drugs and I've been living really clean and fasting but I don't have any issues it's just it was like Wow overwhelming beautiful but just wow like I can't even put it into words but it really was scary because this time it was overwhelming this time it was more real than ever ever ever before and not everyone can have that I'm sorry to stay The Holy Spirits of the third chosen the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost says the Chosen among the believers is few.

A word many churches don’t like to use because they think it will scare people away. Repent is such a beautiful peaceful loving word to me now. I hear the word & my heart is filled with peace & delight & hope. I’m so sad that people are scared of the word because they think it brings condemnation. It’s total freedom in Christ. I look forward to correction & discipline & turning more & more to Jesus. Repent, for the King is here to rescue you from prison! Repent & be set free from bondage! I love this gospel...
i've felt the holy spirit in my life. it's euphoric, yet you have no idea it's happening, you just act on it and reflect later.

I've never felt it all at once but everyday I just have this loving feeling from him and I worship him everyday! Realizing he's been there the whole time!

Brother, this was boss!! I'll keep this short, I believed that there was a higher power but never believed in the story of Jesus and felt the bible was an outdated control manual dressed as a fairytale. I served in two combat tours, and had a horrible childhood. No matter what work I done on myself I could never heal and was always relapsing with PTSD, anxiety and depression. Circa 5 weeks ago I was in Bali, I got terribly ill with Bali Belly, and I had become suicidal. That night I felt a demon come over me, I woke up with what could be described as sleep paralysis but I was growling and then came the intervention, I literally screamed "Jesus I call on the heavenly father to fill me with your holy spirit and I demand these demons to be gone, in Jesus name amen".... the thing was, nobody had ever taught me to pray, I have NEVER prayed to Jesus. In an instant, something grabbed my ankles, the hairs began to lift perfectly and crawl up my legs, past my hips, past my torso, out my neck, and I open my mouth and felt my entire body go light. My anxiety and depression is completely gone. I have never been a crier, but all of a sudden, I think of Jesus and I begin to weep with joy. I came back to Australia, searching for God, I have joined a church, met a new christian mate, I rejoice in Jesus name, and my life has been saved. I am 41yrs old and life has just begun. Thank you Jesus.

You are so right! I cry almost every day with the joy of the holy spirit that touches me! When you let go of the anger the resentment and forgive everyone and forgive yourself as Jesus did for your sins, the weight of the world and the toxic cloud goes away, it's part of your rebirth! We all fail, we are all in a sinners body until we get our forever light with Jesus. We are almost home, the world is exactly where the Bible teaches us, it's 100% true! God bless everyone! I know exactly what you mean! But as soon as I read your statement, I immediately felt this heating sensation! Reading your statement made it clear as to why I no longer felt the holy spirit, it is because I turned to the flesh.. I am deeply ashamed may father forgive me and so as the holy spirit

I remember in '78 my first encounter with the Holy Spirit. I was pretty ignorant then not having been raised in a church. A friend invited me to a Bible study at his parents church which was apostolic Pentecostal.
As we sat in a Pew before the Bible study I saw people going through a nearby doorway. My friend saw me watching and asked me if I knew where they were going ? I said no. He said that they going in there to pray and if I wanted to I could too. So I went back there. I saw a carpeted room with low sitting benches scattered around the room. I found one back towards the back of the room off to itself and knelt, closed my eyes and listened how others were praying because I really didn't know how. After a few minutes I heard a girl come back there. She was praying in English as she entered the room but suddenly switched over to this stuttery sounding language .
I remember thinking," That's interesting". As soon as I had thought that I felt this presence draw near me. I could feel that raw power eminating from this presence like you would feel the rays of the sun shining on you. I wasn't afraid though because I could also feel love shining on me too. I was so naive that I opened one eye to see if someone had silently knelt close to me. No one was anywhere near me so I though," It must be God".

After I became aware of the Hoy Spirit near me in the prayer room that night and the Bible study ended, on the way home my friend said if I had liked the study he would send someone that next night, Friday, to pick me up and take me to a church like his closer to where I lived. I said okay.
As soon as I stepped into the church that next night I felt that wonderful presence again. The people were kind and greeted me as I took my seat.
As the service was in progress I saw some of these same people shouting, dancing,and running the aisles.
I remember thinking that I had talked to some of these people and they struck me as sane, solid individuals.
Then it occured to me that they must be experiencing something so wonderful that they were " beside themselves, in expressing it. Then I came to the conclusion that the presence I felt around me they must have in them and I wanted that too.
When the altar call came I went up there. When the altar worker asked me what I would like the Lord to do for me I told him that I wanted the presence I felt around me in me.
Him and anther worker, at the pastors' instruction, took me back to.their prayer room. They told me to kneel facing the wall and lift my hands and started asking the Lord for what I wanted. As I did so they laid hands on me and quietly started praying for me.
After a few minutes I heard footsteps and then the pastors voice telling me to stand up and recieve the Holy Ghost.
I stood up, with my eyes still closed, and lifted my hands. Immediately I saw this window appear to my upper right. It had what looked like those old fashioned shutters on the outside ends of it and they were wide open.
I looked in the window and saw this beautiful blue sky, clouds and all. Then a bright light appeared at the left hand corner inside the window. It started to move across my field of vision where it then stopped at the center point and shined in me.
Immediately I felt this warmth starting to move up.my legs starting at my ankles. I felt like my body was a vessel being filled with a warm liquid.
As the filling approached my head I was shouting and thanking the Lord for answering my prayer. Then I heard the pastors voice in front of me telling me to surrender my tongue to the Holy Ghost.
So I stopped thanking the Lord, opened my mouth, and started relaxing my tongue as a way of surrendering it. Then I felt control of my tongue seized and I began fluently speaking this language I had never learned. The effect was staggering. I was so happy I now felt beside myself. I led the way out of the prayer room and stopped and looked at the seated congregation.
Suddenly I felt such love for these people. I felt as if I was looking at beloved family members.
When I arrived home a little later I decided to read a little from my Bible before bed. Before that night I had tried to read the Word but found it hard to understand. That night when I opened it I was amazed. Suddenly it had taken on much more depth and I became aware of the Spirit that I had recieved guiding me and teaching me the meaning of what i was reading.
@@robertnieten7259 - oh my lord, I had an identical experience regarding the warmth running up your leg starting at your ankles... this happened to me 5 weeks ago. It was in perfect synch between both legs and the hairs were standing up as it ran up my legs, I opened my mouth and many years of depression and anxiety left me and have never returned. I haven't missed church since and the bible is making much more sense also. Thank you so much for sharing, this is wonderful stuff.

The holy spirit did come into me. The feeling was like being completely engulfed with love. I had no fear of death. I wanted to die right then and their. To be with God . I also had an evil experience. Very very scary worst I've ever had. The very clear message I got was do not be angry or you won't walk through the door to me. P.s. I never cried. YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES. I only truly felt it the handful of times but right now I am obsessed in finding those feelings.
The Holy Spirit in my humble opinion is a wave of energy through my body when He wants me to hear or see something thats going on around me, or just to let me know Hes with me.
Also when im reading scripture or watching a sermon and he wants me to hear something specific my ears will ring with that same feeling simultaneously in such a way that i know its Him.
Listen carefully to my words, let my declaration ring in your ears - Job 13:17 🙏🏻✨️

There is such a feeling of freedom and "being held" when the Holy Spirit comes over me. Physically and mentally the best way I can describe it is as if you are floating in the ocean and a massive whale were to swim near you. Its almost a feeling of fear but awe at the same time.
As a literal feeling, when I enter the quiet peaceful zone where I am asking the Holy Spirit to come over me, my entire body feels a sense of all over lightness and tingling. Its truly the feeling of a tingling fire from within, all over the body. Again almost that scary yet entirely peaceful awe and bliss. Nothing else on earth can come close to it.
I am a Christian.have had all those feeling....But now am told i need to speak in tongues to be really filled with it .Am praying i will have my own convincing experience in what in means to be really filledll
i felt the presence of the holy spirt when i was in prayer listening singing worshipping my favorite song to him
RECKLESS LOVE i was sweaty and crying and telling him i was sorry and i know iam his sheep and cried so much when my favorite part of that song came out"he chases me down fights till im found leaves the 99 !!! and out of no where i felt so much peace my sweat went away the worrying went away and i felt joy and happiness it was a beautiful feeling

I experienced this twice in my life. Once on a mission trip, and the most recent in my bedroom at a very dark moment. I Had some really deep regrets. And I knew that if I was ever going to get over this, it would be from a God... So I asked. And all of a sudden. Here it was. It felt like I was floating. Just like a massive hug from my dad, except you could just tell he/she said, "Its okay son, It's okay,"

That said, God’s mercy is on the unbeliever & that’s why He sent His only Son to save him through His blood🩸. *If* only man *will* seek Him, surrender, repent & accept Jesus Christ as their Lord & Saviour.
I started seeking God a few months ago during lockdown I remember watching videos, reading my bible ,praying in the morning and in the night I even fasted for a few hours deleted all the dating apps I had inappropriate things on my phone ,genuinely making the time For God having casual conversations thanking him .and one Night I prayed I don’t know if I pray right but I just speak to God I prayed for my family ,friends,the sick and homeless,world leaders influencers ect I always prayed for myself last and I prayed and I ended up pouring my whole heart out things I hadn’t been able to come to terms with Or speak about just all came out and when I finished or just when I was about to finish I just felt so at peace and warm and still I didn’t have any thoughts I didn’t question what I was feeling because I knew what I was feeling and then I just started crying and crying happy tears .for one it was the first genuine connection I’ve had With God in my life ,Secondly it was confirmation I was on the right track ,third I was so great full and thankful. The most amazing feeling ever !!!
My childhood was hard and I had depression throughout my life and I go to church one day and just like any other day and I suddenly start crying and crying d I couldn’t understand why I come out of church so relieved and at peace and weak never knew what had happened until someone told me that was the Holy Spirit.
I felt the Holy Spirit when I was young. There is nothing more we wonderful
The other day I was praying and thinking of all the sin people (and I) do in this world, and somehow it made me so sad, I broke out crying, I can only describe it as if the Holy Spirit let me feel how Christ must feel about the state of this world. I never expirienced such a feeling but I am glad that I got a bit of the feeling of sadness that sin causes in this world.

It was literally an overwhelming feeling when i went to the church for the first time singing and praising to god, i had to suck the tear back up into my eye 😂 then today ive been touched by the holy spirit again by listening to i can only imagine and i just balled my eyes out in my room. This is as real as Christianity can get!

I did have an un explained sensation .I cried and the thunder and lighting and the roar of a lion ,I will never forget that
I was waiting for someone to say this I’ve had 4 experiences, 3 in the past two months and the last three times I can’t forget the sound of thunder, it was such a powerful experience, humbling peaceful and the happiest I will ever be.

I experienced to be possessed by the Holy Spirit twice, whatever it was I know from my heart it was the Holy Spirit! Because I was praying sincerely and fully dependent on GOD at that time around 4 in the morning. When I was at the verge of my prayer the word/s coming out from my mouth suddenly kept on repeating and it became faster and faster I was aware I was speaking that way but I have no control over my body. And then a sudden flash came in before my eyes and I realized I was not speaking from my mind but from my soul and spirit like I don't have to think a word to say that my mouth kept on speaking and speaking from what my spirit has to say.What amazes me experiencing the Holy Spirit was my physical body being thrown around like I was being swayed by the wind until I completely laid on the floor, I was keeping on praising our GOD, thanking HIM, confessing and admitting my sins to forgive me. I felt my spirit was crying because of so much joy and longingly to be in the presence of GOD like I was ready to get there in heaven.
I want to wholeheartedly support your testimony. I will be 46 in about 1 week. But just prior to becoming pregnant with my first child, my daughter, at the age of 19, I too had my first blessed encounter with The Holy Spirit. Quite like as you describe, I had walked out onto my parent’s small wooden deck in the backyard in the daytime and it seemed as though a loud silence surrounded me. Comforting, completely forgiving and just Love. I also simply wept - but it wasn’t sad weeping - it was an overwhelming weeping, filled with gratitude and peace. I remember sitting down on the wood deck and just feeling The Holy Spirit and I were alone, nothing else- sound, other people, time - was involved. Recently I’ve reflected on my entire youth - that I’ve always prayed even as a little child…. and for silly things. But from that day, my prayers changed.

Its peace in your heart.... if you listen good you can hear that it seeks to glorify Jesus. Were always in this body with a war inside qnd outside... But we can be confident that Jesus has already won the war so we can come to his throne of grace in our time of need. Jesus is our true need thats not anything this world can meet. I was just done talking on the phone and I played this song O come to the altar and in just a moment a cried. I had this pain on my heart and i flashbacks on the wrongful things I did. I was down on my knees repenting and I was confused why I felt that way and then it just continued. And after today I felt that there are so many things that I need to set it right. A new path that I need to walk through and a purpose that God had for me. I nearly lost the fire I had for God and He restored it.
I have faith for a beautiful life ahead with God.

Right before my Dad passed, there was peace in the room. My hand on his and his Bible. I felt an electric warming go down through my body like a flowing. Nothing I had felt before. Dad walked in the five folds of ministry, but mostly went by being a pastor before he passed. I never even knew what happened could happen. The holy spirit. Agape love.

@@Person-dq3dk it was more of a love, warming feeling. Yes, left me in shock, but not woozy. I didn't even think it was possible to feel the holy spirit like that. A couple of people (one being an evangelist and the other Dad's previous assistant pastor) think it might be the passing down of his mantle like Elijah did to Elisha in the Bible (with double anointing). I'm the only child. All I felt was what I thought was agape love. Which I think it was too. Dad did so much good, especially in the community. A community pastor that fought for so many.
I've been trying to experience the Holy Spirit and have a encounter with Jesus for a long time and nothing has happened please pray for me to have a experience with the Holy Spirit

I have literally no stress over bills and money now. I have like $700 a month in bills from $4000 a month just a couple years ago. I want the simple life. I just had an experience the other night in my bedroom where i had been praying the rosary alot throughout the day and after the last one i went to bed and had this sensation of a warm heart and calmness as i lay there in the dark. Was thinking on mary and God and then had this rush of energy go through me and it was as if i transported to the spirtual realm and think i sensed christ there if i didnt actually see him or hear him. It was over in a matter of a few second but i was roaring out of me inside at first because i didnt know what was happening. Very hard to explain.
The moment you believe on the finished work of Jesus the holy spirit lives in you, you are sealed! We can have this emotional response when we are shown God's love for us. But we are to live by faith and not by our emotions or feelings, they are not to be trusted. Nowhere in the bible does it say the holy spirit is an emotional experience. He convicts us of who we are in Christ and what He has accomplished. I say all of this because if you think because you don't have these experiences you may think that the holy spirit is not working. He is always working!
