Hi I’ve been watching you from the beginning and because of you I had RNY GASTRIC BYPASS in 2020 then have had a Fleur de Lis tummy tuck in July 2023. During the surgery I also had muscle repair from having had babies and muscle separation. My only advice is if you are planning on having babies just hold off until you’ve had them. My plastic surgeon did permanent muscle repair and I just love the way everything looks now. You will absolutely love it. I’m so proud of you and love that you talk about it all so openly. I’m using Saxenda injections to maintain my weight loss as well. We can’t get the Mounjaro in Australia 🇦🇺. Why did you need to swap with your injections??

Hey, 👋 it’s really good to see your doing so well. Really loving your updates. This journey is so hard I’ve been struggling with weight gain I’m 8 years post op and I need to get my butt in gear. Had a stressful 2 years a lot of changes and losses. But it’s time to get back on track. X

Hi! I’m several years out from RNY as well and I’ve been following along since the beginning so I look forward to your updates. I did plastics in 2022 following -150lb loss, the FDL extended TT with a lift and implants - I was able to do part of it through insurance, a panniculectomy was covered and then I paid the difference to convert. Try your hardest to go the insurance route (for many reasons) but it may require scouting out surgeons that will be in network. Panniculectomy and FDL Facebook groups are great resources! I had all procedures done at the same time and paid ~ $15k in total doing it that way. Definitely recommend doing it all at once if you can and you will feel such a difference following, it’s hard for our minds to fully realize all the progress we’ve made when our bodies don’t reflect that. Not saying the journey stops there, I think we will always have those struggles that creep in but on the whole, so improved!

It is lovely to see you Carolin and to spend some time with you ❤ I personally think that body dysmorphia is a struggle after WLS. I’ve also struggled with this especially in the first year after surgery. Luckily this has lessened in the 4 years since surgery. You have healthy and thick hair. Cutting your hair shoulder length after the wedding is a good idea. I think it will suit you!

I have been seeing a hormone replacement wellness medical personnel and found out after blood test I have Dairy intolerance. Which is a cause for bloating, decreased energy and gi tract upset.
