It’s a mitre protractor used for measuring mitre angles and in this video I show it being used and then the measurements being transferred to the mitre saw, skirting (baseboard) being cut, glued up and tried in place to see if it’s any good

Setting the saw to "about" the angle doesn't cut it. Pun intended.😄
Sorry for the delayed response, I've been searching for an industry standard definition of the "about" measurement :-)
