    Brilliant video and description, subscribed. Needed one of these for a long time but never knew they existed. Done half my house without one, hoping the other half of the house will be much less headache now.
    Great video thanks

    Hey Dave mate.. Just found this video. Man ur channel has come a long way my bro.. I salute u for that. It looks much more polished. I know this is last year. I'm only commenting now. I clicked on the amazon link to buy that protractor but it didn't show up man.. Why isn't it in ur store affiliate?? It's a brilliant tool and thank you very much for showing us how to use it correctly as well. That's the one thing I always take from ur videos pal. U always give it a proper demonstration without the speed up version when I catch them on here. I'm one of many who bought the TITAN JOINTER/THICKNESSER out here and it's a belter tbf mate. I remember ur video from way back. U gave a gr8 demo on it too.
    Take it easy bro and keep ur chin up.. I saw the video from a few days back too btw. So sorry for ur loss pal.. Hope ur going to be ok. I cannot even begin to imagine what ur going through right now so my kindest regards to u and family & also to ur wifes family as well. I wish u all the best mate. Take care of yourself..

    I brought one of these after watching you use one in your videos ( I had a cheap yellow plastic Chinese copy previously that was hopeless ) and 'roughly' worked out the correct way to use it, but your video has 'polished up' my understanding'. Brilliant tutorial and thankyou for uploading

    Hi Dave, I found a similar one on the internet called Saker and found it was made by Starrett. I found that watching your video, it gave me a more indepth idea of how to use it. Thanks from this Oklahoma USA watcher.

    Merry Christmas Dave and thank you for explaining the protractor with examples - makes so much more sense to me now. Have to say your colour coordination of shirt and wall are spot on! I'll remember not to drink and scribe too. Cheers

    Good morning Dave, like Mark I have the cheapy yellow one which works fine but I think I'll bite the bullet and buy myself one like your through the link provided. Great explanation and sample cuts. It also shows that you did a good job dialling in your mitre saw to perfection. Happy Christmas 🎄🎄🎄

    How does this compare to the 200mm Trend DAF/8 Internal and External Digital Angle Finder and Rule also on your tools page Dave. Any preference? Cheers.

    • @GrumpysWorkshop4
      @GrumpysWorkshop4  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The trend one was great until I smashed the screen, my fault. Bought this as there's no need for batteries & nothing to go wrong. Love it works great

  • @rod1148
    @rod1148 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great presentation. Do you think these are as accurate as a digital angle finder? or maybe better? thanks

    • @GrumpysWorkshop4
      @GrumpysWorkshop4  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say these are more accurate as there's no electronics to go wrong & they don't need batteries

    • @Marzoochi
      @Marzoochi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      More accurate because it has no electronics and batteries? Common, that has nothing to do with accuracy. I am using this one, but also have stabila electronic protractor. Stabila gives 0.1s steps, which is definitely more accurate. But also not neccessary for baseboards etc. and it’s way bigger tool.

      Yeah sorry about that, the links are uk based links. I'm gonna assume you're not in the UK.

  • @dilligaf2386
    @dilligaf2386 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    So are you saying no need to scribe skirting in just use a angle finder

    • @GrumpysWorkshop4
      @GrumpysWorkshop4  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's so many ways to do that it all depends on the individual doing the work & how said individual usually does it. If you usually mitre the corners then this works the angle out accurately but if you're scribing then the angle doesn't matter.
      Thanks for your comment & for watching

    What's that stopping you cutting that tiny bit of timber, looks annoying.
