Congrats on being the only video on YT and possibly ever (unless someone else uploads on here) that captured the Stellar Way walkway despite it being open until 2005.
This was the best version EVER!! It had it all! The atmosphere, greaaaaaaaaat que line and the music was just perfect. Such a shame what they did to such a great attraction by turning it into mission 2 :(
Yes you could , I remember back being a child that you could enter the fastpass entrance just to take a look inside the ride. So people who didn't dare or children to small to go on the ride could see the inside. Matter of fact the whole cue that you have now was open and instead of iron walls it was made out of a kind of plexiglass.
This poor ride has gotten increasingly embarrassing with every update When will the tacky star Wars posters and obvious screens get peeled off this work of art
there was a projected moon and in front of the projection there was thin foil where they projected clouds, the melies movie and the face of the moon watching the queue line
you see this ride is what made disneyland, disneyland. Not some stupid retheme of a well known franchise that most people know shouldnt be reason to retheme such an original, iconic classic ride. #BringBackLaLune

LeLoly pour info il n’y a nis de mission 2 ni de de la terre à la lune au usa, il possède hyperspace, ghost et Space normal, et notre de la terre à la lune étais parfait et il son tout gâchée avec ce vieux hyperspace
LeLoly oui je sais 😉mais pas le notre, le notre à un launch, (catapulte) et reprogrammé le canon en de la terre à la lune demanderais beaucoup trop de travail et d’argent à Disney 😩😫
@@spaceworld3342 La version Hyperspace Mountain est si mauvaise ?? Je ne l'ai pas testé ^^ Je suis allez a Disneyland en 2001, malheureusement j'étais encore trop petit pour faire Space Mountain De la Terre à la Lune, il fallait faire 1m40... Mais j'y suis retourné en 2005, là j'étais assez grand alors j'ai pu le faire sous la Version Mission 2, j'ai raté la version De la Terre à la Lune à un an près !! Fais chier !! Haha ^^ Cela dit le manège reste en soi le même, hormis la musique et les décors ainsi que le catapultage qui se fait direct et non pas en 2 phases comme la première version. Par contre la musique de la première version est vraiment la meilleure !! Apparemment une rumeure dit qu'il veulent remettre Mission 2 à la place de Hyperspace Mountain alors peut-être qu'un jour ils remettront en place la 1ère version ^^

in those days the ride made sense being there with a great theme and score. now it's just another coaster in the dark.

How do they do that effect with the clouds covering the moon at around 3:30?

@@Olschoolvidz it's a projection? It honestly looks so convincing, I wouldn't have known it was a projection if you hadn't told me
@@idk-zt8rx it’s bigger than than it’s 2 layers of projections one is a projection of the moon and the other one is the clouds
I also noticed that the smoke effects weren't working properly in the video. Why were they deactivated?

Discovery Ride regarde au usa ils ont retourné en mission 2 ou même la terre a la lune
