I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 150K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again.

Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

I have been working with "LISA ELLEN SHAW" for about four years now, and she's made decent returns. If she meets your discretion, then you could go ahead.

Only at age 40 this year did I decide to start investing and living a more meagre life. I have a very late start and investing in indexes in Canada is a bit harder than in the US but anything at this point helps I guess. Ngl I've literally been thinking about market turbulence for 1 year now and most people wouldn't know what to do because this is the first bear market for them, hitting an all time high and now so many losses they might even scream, but then have you tried to consult a cfa to establish a diversification plan adapted to your portfolio? Basically, I just made my first $170,000 in a time of high Fed pivots, you should consider investing in mutual funds like Vanguard, Schwabs, or Fidelity. Crypto is also good because the returns are quite high, but to be on the safe side. Choose stock-based mutual funds
I should retire in a few months, any tip would be nice, and yes i have also tried to get a cfa but it is hard to find one that truly grasps the entirety of the different sectors, i am very open-minded Plus if I can't have it all then there is no point, if you get what I mean

N.3 is by far the most important, and the most frustrating for me. Plenty of people complaining about landlords, without understanding how damn hard it was to put together the capital for the first rental. Yeah, sure, once you have 3 or 4 and your day job life is easy. But when you are still paying off your 1st one, life is most definitely NOT easy. I remember packing plenty of home made lunches while my coworkers were ordering takeout every single day. I remember cycling to work, while my coworkers had their brand new car. And so on. Wealth doesn't appear from thin air. Hell, even if it was daddy's money, that money still had to come from somewhere and that somewhere usually is savings from a normal job.

The money you "keep" out of your paycheck is the only money that is YOURS. The rest is already "owned" by the gasoline people, the grocery people, your landlord or the local government people, all the ones you have to pay to be permitted to live.
We are debt free and have quite a bit saved for retirement, which is just a few years ago. We manage almost our own money. Since you are younger, maybe you don't know the answer to this, but do you have any advice for managing our own money and how to become more educated. I feel the closer we are to retirement, the less I know, but I don't want to pay an advisor exorbitant fees. Do you recommend fiduciary advisors or what? Thanks
