The triangle’s sacred symbolism in Hindu cosmology aligns with Shakti and Shiva’s dynamic energies, while its structural and energetic benefits contribute to the longevity and spiritual potency of the temple.

Basically there are three types of Hindu architecture for temples only 1) Nagar architecture mostly in northern India. These types of temples are higher from ground and had tall Shikhar(main pyramid like structure on the top of main room. 2) Dravid architecture style the tower like structure you wanted to know about are called gopuram these are gates of temple and are so small in this style basically you will see in south india. 3) Bhumij style this is kind a mixture of styles with its own difference. The towers as you called them, are called "Gopuram"...they are usually gateways, arched doorways into the inner courtyard of the temple. Usually 4 in number one each in the North, South,East and West directions.
Old ancient temples were all over india but islamic invader conquered the northern india but not south, most ancient temples in north before 18 century were destroyed by them around 40k temples. Ram temple was one of it which we claimed back. All the older ones survived in south and has different architecture than northern temples.
3:59 They remind you of Mayan civilization ? Heck yes. Two civilizations of Americas are Sanatan. Aztec - "Astic" - Samskrit word for "that in existence" Mayans - "Maya" - Samskrit word for the perception of that which exists and you cling to You can go and ask the folks in Chile, Peru etc.. and they will confirm that civilization was bought to them from the Pacific Ocean "Prashant Mahasagar" (that's the Sanskrit word for Pacific Ocean) ... So the one who took it there is Sugreev (yes from Ramayan).. Now you are spot on and correct. Sculpture from India and Angkor Vat (temple in Cambodia) and those in Mayan or Aztecs match. The style of construction is the same. It does have unique native aspects too, because that's considered best in our. Culture. There's reasons for difference and we should acknowledge it and it's beautiful and diverse.

And Ankor Wat , the largest one was a hindus temple conveted to Buddhism later. And Bali , Indonesia is still a hindu majority place.

@@shayanraj7840 not in original form? They are totally bulldozed . The temple now in Ayodhya, varansi built today. There is no oldest temple anymore there.
@@santhoshv3028 Not all , some parts like the Lingam of Kashi or stone curved parts of Sharada Peeth temple are still physically there. Infact Sharada Peeth is literally older than most South Indian temple , established in 237 BC , almost 2000-3000 years old.
@@shayanraj7840 if lingam of Kashi is older , then temple can be admitted as oldest but none recognised it as old. All what you see in South temple complex all are not more than 1000 year old. Only karppa giraga and surrounding region of south temple is older than 2000 or 3000 year old. Outside complex , gopuram all are rennovated many times in history. South have many cave temple which is 3000 year old. Sharada peeth, it was built during Asoka period. So not much older than temples of south. There is still no proof of north temple having more oldest structure than south. Even Kailasha temple is built by southern empire not northern empire.

There is a story which I had heard about Shri rangnath temple.... It's like this that.... Bhagwan Ram after having defeated Ravan return back to Ayodhya with his wife brother and the monkeys and all the people that helped him.... For many days they stayed in the kingdom of Ayodhya , and it was time for revision to go back to his Kingdom Lanka but he did not want to part away with Bhagwan Ram he said that he wanted Bhagwan Ram to come to Lanka and stay there ... How Bhagwan Ram said that I will give you the statue of my family Deity.... You can carry it with you as my own representation , but if you place it on the ground at any time in the course of your travel back to your kingdom the statue will get placed at that very spot and then it will not move , so vibhishan was carefully carrying the statue back to Lanka somehow he stumbled and the statue fell out of his hand or something happened where by statue got fixed to the land and then at that place the temple of Srirangam came up.
The towers are called "Gopura/gopuram " They are built on Vaimanika Shashtra ( Flying ship ) style , the whole idea of ancient temples was to build temples in style of space ships ( Vimanas )

Those gopuram are later built but main karpagiraha was 3000 year old. My city madurai also have temple ( Meenakshi amman temple) which is built or founded before 2000 year ago but this video shows 6th century because gopuram and outer temple structure built during that era but not karppagiraha. Many temples in Tamil Nadu are like that. Temple extended outside when time goes. But founded time would be more than 2000 or 3000 year old. We have mountain drilled temples many in Tamil Nadu but many north Indian don't know about it because many cave temple is not big like this or yiu can't see from outside. Those cave temples are 3000 year old too. Madurai have many cave temple which is more than 2000 year old.
BTW, the reason most of these largest temples are in Tamilnadu is not because Tamilnadu consecrated the most number of temples. It is because it is in the southernmost part of India and most temples in northern India were destroyed by invaders
The towers that you see in most South Indian Temples are called Gopuram in South India. There are no such structures in North India as they were all destroyed during the Islamic invasions. But in religious texts it is known as a Vimana and the same word is used for a "chariot" or "vehicle" that flies or moves in the air. In ancient texts, it is often referred to as a divine or aerial vehicle, used by gods or other beings.
1. There is number of text from ancient time are fully dedicated to temple architecture. 2. Every particular region have different architecture according to climate and traditions..majorly 2 north region "nagar " southern region "dravina". 3. Temples were used as educational institutions as well. 4. Temples of northern region of Indian subcontinent mostly destroyed because of multiple invasions from 1000 of years for wealth. For example somnath temple has been looted by mohd. Ghori in 1027 ad was epitome of scientific uses in architecture.

those pyramid are the entrances into the temples 250-300 ft, they are also used for identifying from far that there is a village or cite present as in the old days city or village outskirts were mostly covered with trees so these structures helps travelers to identify that there is a citys present
6:45 This tower is different from the previous towers... This is the main temple building.. This tower is called Vimana in Southern Style (Dravid) and Shikhara in Northern Style(Nagara)
Sadly North India hardly has any old big temples left. Almost all were destroyed during the Islamic invasions. We lost so much history and culture up north it’s crazy and sad.
Also Indonesia was Hindu before. They have a lot of hindu culture left in Bali still.
You can watch a video on temple architecture. India mainly has 3 types - Naraga, Dravida and Vesara.
The triangular entrance of Hindu temples in South India reflects a harmonious blend of religious symbolism and scientific practicality. The triangle’s sacred symbolism in Hindu cosmology aligns with Shakti and Shiva’s dynamic energies, while its structural and energetic benefits contribute to the longevity and spiritual potency of the temple.
5:30 as most were destroyed , ( I will not say numbers out of my ass , but acc to google around 30000 temples were destroyed across north India ,West India, pakistan , some in afgahnistan from 12th century to 18th century
One more thing ( with video clip ) in delhi near qutub minar you will find broken ancient Indian statues carving
React to praveen mohan his channel is about discovering and explaining about old temples architecture you would love it. The videos are really interesting.
Basically there are three types of Hindu architecture for temples only
1) Nagar architecture mostly in northern India.
Internet can tell more about it than me it was just basic for you. @OriginalPagan
Hope you react to or watch the bitsized videos of the channel "21 Notes" Which explains the whole of RAMAYAN in digestible 5 minute episodic videos. Highly RECOMMENDED! Much Love❤
Bro you can Google ancient Science behind Indian temple architecture
ancient buildings are amazing no matter the culture, they are just so artistic
Bro those windows the "strange tower😂" tells time according to sun's position in respective window
60,000 ancient temples were destroyed by Islamic invaders in INDIA
Thats why only few are present in southern part of INDIA sadly.
react on mysterius hindu temples ❤❤❤
The towers as you called them, are called "Gopuram"...they are usually gateways, arched doorways into the inner courtyard of the temple. Usually 4 in number one each in the North, South,East and West directions.
Hi there mate, please check out another massive temple which is almost finished in Mayapur, west bengal
Try reacting to Guru Pashupati, he’s definitely not the typical Guru and his stuff is a bit advanced but I enjoy his content. It’s very beneficial.
3000 years ago some of the religions didn't even exsisted 😂
Man you can do a video on recently build -BAPS SWAMINARAYAN temple in the new jersey.
Great
Old ancient temples were all over india but islamic invader conquered the northern india but not south, most ancient temples in north before 18 century were destroyed by them around 40k temples. Ram temple was one of it which we claimed back. All the older ones survived in south and has different architecture than northern temples.
3:59 They remind you of Mayan civilization ?
Heck yes. Two civilizations of Americas are Sanatan.
Aztec - "Astic" - Samskrit word for "that in existence"
Mayans - "Maya" - Samskrit word for the perception of that which exists and you cling to
You can go and ask the folks in Chile, Peru etc.. and they will confirm that civilization was bought to them from the Pacific Ocean "Prashant Mahasagar" (that's the Sanskrit word for Pacific Ocean) ...
Missed Pashupatinath temple of Nepal build in 5th century CE. 2,460,000 m² and includes 518 mini-temples and a main pagoda house. Also a world heritage site by UNESCO
These are just largest , doesn't mean the oldest or mysterious.
The most mysterious and beautiful ancient temple is 'Kailasa temple' , it is mysterious like pyramids.
And Ankor Wat , the largest one was a hindus temple conveted to Buddhism later. And Bali , Indonesia is still a hindu majority place.
Doesn't mean oldest?😂 Most oldest temples are in south, specifically Tamil Nadu. I don't know what are you bluffing. Mysterious? Tamilnadu and other Southern states also have many temple mysterious too.
@@santhoshv3028 Nope. You have gone mad I guess. The oldest surving temple doesn't mean the oldest temple itself. Ok ? All the ancient temple of Varanasi , Ayodhya , Vrindavan are not in their original form , just that. Don't be fool.
Advance Welcome from us , when u visit ancient indian Temples ; damn sure u experience one of the greatest time of ur life !!
You don't read the comments, but let me tell you something, most of hindu temples were taken down or converted by muslims, that's why we have hindu muslim conflicts in India
South is protected because of King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj of maratha empire
Nah...
just 200 300 hundred years back he was alive .. foreign invasion happening in india since 1000 years
Bro Praveen mohan a youtuber do detailed research on temples. If you will watch his videos you will be surptised by the details he provides
Those pyramid looking are temple tower which are unique to South indian architecture with many sculptures on it . This is called Dravidian architecture because it's mostly found in South indian . Whereas North indian temples have a slightly curvy towers which is called as Nagara architecture which commonly found in North india .
The towers in al temple's are made for energy booster and particularly it is made of brass , copper, aluminium, gold and silver it contains inside was 9 kinds of seeds such as rise , termeric, ground floor, etc .
It would have been better to watch oldest temples list too
React to Hindu Richest temple. Padmanabhaswami Temple and its mystery
it’s triangle shapes .
Check star temples . Triangles . Maybe it’s attract energy.
Please react to the deeper aspects of Hinduism as well. Like the chausat yoginis, 10 mahavidyas, most disturbing and fierce forms of shakti, maa kamakhya, maa chinnmasta. You will learn the real symbolism of the way our gods are
React to Puri Jagannath Temple ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
I don't Think foreigners have entry in these temples, few temples don't allow Non-hindus and Foreigners
If that advance architecture is 3000 back ... Then hinduism flourished when you can only imagine ..
Indonesia 🇮🇩 was never Muslim but one is enough to convert entire population 😅
Ghori in 1027 ad was epitome of scientific uses in architecture.
indonesia was 100% hindu nation untill everyone converted there except for bali where majority are hindus
The structure of the temple is called Vimana architecture basically Vimana mean flying object or an aeroplane in modern terms.
There is videos, where architecture of temples is explained
Why bcoz in any conditions if water, heat , air Earthquakes ,and by viruses if lose all the it well food saver for human beings .so we can cultivate form and servive. Most amazing things is some of the temples containing so much energy .even our campus, navigation doesn't work even satelite also included 😊😊😊. Lot's of love and respect from India 🙋 🇮🇳 🙏
There are like 2 types of temples, the one you say have towers that's like an entry point and they are mostly in the south of India. The other ones are from the north. You can identify by the tower like shape of the temple that it is from southern India
broi please react on "DHANUEVEDAM"
