Lol, I remember that I was always frustrated because I couldn't do nothing but drop my combo in notes 708-727. Now, every time I get a Perfect here is so satisfying.
ironically, this song when reduced down to easy is annoying to time the beats (not unbeatable, but I still don't have a full combo on easy). The "ideal" difficulty, despite still being real hard, is normal. it matches the frenetic tempo of the song while not drowning you in button presses and holds.

@@Dianagibbs33 I'd recommend practicing a bunch on medium, which is what I always did. You can use the power up that refills your life bar if you're worried about that, and the medium difficulty has multiple places where you can pause and rest your hands. I wish you luck!
@@Dianagibbs33 this is very late, but I managed 87% by listening to the song on loop and memorizing the rhythm, putting the DS on the table (with left hand underneath to press the arrows and spin), then hitting the notes from above. Makes it easier.

Wow, I had tried that before but for some reason I couldn't change the dual line into arrows, I tried again now and there it is! I never knew, thanks! [Edit] I thought my performance would improve with both hands using arrow buttons, but I've been using arrows in the main line and letters in the dual line for so long that changing it threw me off... Still though, it's great that the game even allows for such freedom of customisation! I just wish Project Diva had that feature... Yeah, I know future tone has it, but I only have a PSP and those games don't...
I don't know if this will help you, but my performance improved a lot when I set every button to sound effect number 3, and selected the hold effect number 2
I see... You know that's another thing I prefer in Mirai over Diva, having different sound effects in each button helps me better memorise which one I need to press as I play the songs! In Diva you're stuck with the same effect for all buttons, you can change it, but it affects all buttons... Not a big deal, but still, Mirai definitely got it better, if anything, you can still have them all use the same effect if you're used to Diva, or if you simply prefer it that way...

doubt I'll ever see the day I could even complete this song on hard, let alone a full combo perfect. For whatever reason, the only hard modes I have not cleared are this song and "Hello/How are You?" The latter should really _NOT_ be that hard, but I lose the rhythm completely past the 3/4 mark.
If you're really struggling, I'd recommend using play coins to get the thing that refills your life bar once it's empty. It'll help for that run of the song, and it's how I initially cleared this song on hard (first with a D, and later I cleared this without a powerup and got a B)
