The original TTS video was the reason for me to buy Stellaris. Now I have 1000+ hours in the game. I won my first campaign following Kitten strategy from the original video
Paradox Interactive showed up at alfabusa's house one day, rang the doorbell, and threew a bag of money at him with a note saying 'stellaris video plz'. And we got this beautiful adventure. And then we got Hunter: The Parenting later, because paradox actually appreciates fan advertising.
12:35 ah yes the BOYUS BERESY, poor Dorn his PTSD from Horus heresy is coming back because of this. On a more serious note, is it true that Sanguinius resurrected? And also Guilliman and Lion crowned him as the new Emperor of Imperium Secundus? You are his wife right? So you must know more
At 17:00 the Deceiver goes on a rant about the End Times. That is the series’s of narrative events that happened in Warhammer Fantasy where all the apocalypse war actually happened before GW canceled the game. It was later pseudo reviewed as Age of Sigmar which has a much more high fantasy feel before recently getting a proper next edition. This contrast with Warhammer 40K which had is big conflict of the heresy prior to the normal games setting. And while there are plenty of stories about this era it is only relatively recently that the grand narrative has advanced any.
i remember my 5 year war that's what happens when your main fleet is a year away and the enemy is even farther away and to make stop gaps small skermishis makes it so neather side could win till both main fleets would need to reach and stuff just go out of hand and our main fleets where so out of date that the stop gap ships got better it was fun
Look I only play xenocidal empires isn't because I don't know the xenophile strats. It's because I don't have the CPU power to host you all come late game.
Vect thought he could stall the end crisis and prevent the game from ending, but the game always has an end year... Also, Boy used Jump Drives... Increases the probability of the Unbidden spawning in. Long story short, extra dimensional beings with no shields, damn near total immunity to top tier ship armaments (due to them being made to destroy shields which the Unbidden have none of), and endlessly spawning in until every empire is dead. I played a game where both Fallen Empires were fighting against each other in the War in Heaven, only to have the Unbidden appear... I was the strongest Empire at the time and did my best to close the portal, didn't work because a massive stack spawned directly in front of me when I was destroying it. Fleets got screwed, the supposed superior Fallen Empires kept bickering like children and decided to keep attacking each other rather than the threat to the galaxy... I thought things were going bad until ANOTHER Unbidden portal spawned in with a faction that is hostile to the first.... Then another spawned in after that that was hostile to all of them. Essentially, the Cicatrix Maledictum opened up and ran a train on every empire in the galaxy whilst I hid and hoped they ignored me long enough so I could muster a fleet... I eventually got killed and out of spite I kept the save just to watch the AI get what they rightfully deserve for sitting on their asses more than the fucking Necrons. Learn from Warhammer and my playthrough, if an extra dimensional rift opens up then seal that bitch as soon as possible.
It's true, but you can tell from the way he started that Kitten wasn't playing competitive style. Competitive basically avoids as much of the actual game as possible, you could tell he was reading each anomaly and picking choices based on rp.

I love how Kitten just makes the Tau Empire with space cats.
Time stamp:
13:18 Aurelia's game spirit animal?
Most accurate depiction of a Stellaris game. I'm either kitten or the emperor, depends on my mood.

20:57 you could say the Superior-not-God-Man had a... Contingency for that occasion!
Raise those Troops, Dirt Cheap~
Glad you had a good time Aurelia :)

The Blorg going extinct in "the war of unrequited Love" seems pretty sad but reasonable.
...Great to see more vids like this! Thanks again Aurelia!
This is amazing there actually bringing back the rouge traders races from the 80s

This may not have been intentional, but several of this specials characters were a test run for the cast of Hunter the Parenting.

GW as well tbh
Oh no, we see it. Just dont want to a knowledge it
Funny thing you say that. Airier does I think.
You must not look at any discussions about it, since it's literally all anyone talks about.
Has anyone showed her "day in the life of boy"
Algorithm
Unpopular opinion maybe but i feel Emperor TTS is the Family Guy of Warhammer.
As someone who plays stellaris competitive, I will say... kittens don't tend to live long, but when everyone is bad its a good strat.
