Early Career Framework

This short introductory video aims to explain what the Early Career Framework is about and how it works.
The ECF was introduced by the UK government from September 2021. It marks a change in support for teachers creating a new entitlement through the first two years of their career. These reforms are part of the government’s teacher recruitment and retention strategy which aims to improve training and development opportunities for teachers as part of their approach to keep more teachers in the profession.
