You just pay extra for the quality of the ride and how long the car maintains the feeling like new performance. I can’t say north against the Toyota Land Cruiser, it is a different animal once you live the pavement you feel like you are in a tank.
People buy what they can afford I personally think benz is worth it I have a gls and we love it I’ve owned 9 of their suv and 2 sedans I never encountered any major problems I even brought several of them up to 150k with no issues maintenance is key on your vehicle bottom line benz isn’t for everyone
