  • Hi everyone! In today's video, I am exploring Raleigh, NC! I have lived in Raleigh for just over two years and I feel like I've only just scratched the surface on the food scene here. I've visited a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries in Raleigh and Cary that I've been filming since December and I'm excited to share them with you today!

I’m so glad you mentioned the lack of Chinese places here with good reviews. I’ve tried about four different places, and nothing has hit the spot. I grew up with a fantastic Chinese place down the street, so I’m really picky on what I like. I will have to give Ni Asian Kitchen a try 🤘🏼

I am picky about it too! Ni Asian Kitchen is definitely my favorite of the Chinese restaurants we've tried. When we lived in Chicago, we had an incredible Chinese restaurant a block away from our apartment and I miss it haha.

Try “Mr.Burro Breakfast and coffee”. It’s a food truck that’s open till 2pm. Their breakfast burrito is great. I also liked their pina colada there.

I was about to suggest you follow NC Eat & Play but then you said you don't like to go to restaurants on hot lists 😂

I actually follow her on instagram! I think I don't like "hot lists" in big cities, like when we lived in Chicago, I rarely went anywhere that had a ton of hype. I feel like the hole-in-the-wall places are just so good! Haha
