    Little did she know that she interviewed the coach who won the NCAA mens national volleyball champions, the past two years. And that coach trained some of the top volleyball athletes in the world… what a small world!

    It’s too bad helping people doesn’t pay. I had to leave a job 10 years ago helping low income people find work because I could not afford to stay. I made 37k after 20 years, with a 4- year degree and was a manager.

    I love your content and live in Raleigh so very cool to see you out here! 😊 It’s a struggle right now with rent prices, it’s very expensive to live in Raleigh anymore so a lot of people are moving into the surrounding towns/cities

    Salaries should be transparent and people should not feel it is a taboo to share it.

    I work for TX HHSC as a accountant and make 43k a year. I applied to jobs recently because when someone mentions a raise in a division meeting they barely want to talk about it. Meanwhile directors and commissioners are making upwards to 500k with yearly bonuses. Working for the public sector sucks. No wonder why turnover is so high.

    Not hating on what you do, and I want to give you props for what you've been able to get for yourself. It's just that doing what your doing sheds a light on what is wrong with our society today. People you interview, construction workers, medical field, engineers, programmers, managers, teachers, almost all make less than $100k a year, most way less than that. Then someone such as yourself, comes along with a branded mic and interviews them and makes $450k a year. Some will say it's the "American Dream" and for you it is, but for most the people you've interviewed its is the "American Nightmare".

    • @lilolme69
      @lilolme69 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So what's keeping the people she interviewed from doing the same? Oh wait... nothing is stopping them. So they are preventing their self from having the American dream! No excuses... I spent 7 years in prison, was homeless and basically broke then I started a service business, made millions and now I do what I want, when I want to do it. Those who are living the American nightmare are writing their own script.

      In all fairness, she did make her money through the faith in her efforts to start her own business. She wasn't exploiting anyone else or profiting off of their labor. And she wouldn't have been paid what she did if there wasn't a strong demand to see her content. If we lived in a society where everyone was union and MOUs/union contracts publicly spelled out what the wage scales were (common here in the Bay Area amongst nurses, by the way), then surely her business would be made redundant.

      @@702thomas I appreciate it but how is the system a scam? If a person wants to do better, they can... if a person wants to make more money, they can. I've tried to help my family make more money and they don't want to put forth the effort. I have tried to help a few thousand others make money money and they don't want to put forth the effort either. The system requires effort and most aren't willing to give up that solid $12-$15 an hour and a boss that tells them what to do. I even try to get them to keep that worthless J.O.B. and do something after work that makes way more money... but again, no one wants to put forth the effort. I had a business that would make $100,000.00 a year profit all set for my nephew and he didn't want to do it... he sits in jail as I type this, he chose jail instead.

      what do you want from her? To earn less lol?

    • @dxbrow2

      @@MrFuckinglogin Just pointing out the obvious disparity between what I call the legacy economy, 9-5 slave labor to just barely get by, and the new digital/advertising economy where people make hundreds of thousands a year and more for literally just being a bill board for either a product, a company or themselves if they happen to be born a model. Nothing negative to Hannah for what she's accomplished for herself, more props to her. This whole channel is about pay disparity and transparency, so just pointing that fact out between the two economies. Just watch her videos and see what some of these people earn, it truly is sad what most people make in America today.

      'anything in the south is worthles', extreme perspective. What is that based on? Purely from a salary perspective? Day to day living?
