The first time I heard Confirmation was in 1962 in a performance by George Shearing on the album Sunny Side Of The Strip. The tune stuck in mind. I eventually heard the original, and it became part of my repertoire. Today at the age of 77 I still love listening to any version of the tune. Hats off to the Chad LB Quartet.
