- In this extra video this week, I am sharing a get ready with me, as I was heading off to a fancy red carpet event, and I wanted to have the chats and get ready together. I got my red thrifted dress from Depop, and I gave it some alterations and added pockets to my dress. I hope you get an idea of how to add pockets to your dress from this. Vicks vapor rub rocks. It isn't talked about enough anymore, but it works a charm just a dab on the chest and it helps everything. Don't wear it to go out people would notice. I love Mrs. Browns. Boys. I laugh so hard at his craziness.

While you were doing your hair, it reminded me so much of my teen years back in the ‘60’s when we would ‘roll’ our hair every night and sleep with the curlers in our hair so it would be full and bouncy for the next day. It would take about five minutes to ‘roll’ and I found when I got married in 1971, and my husband refused to let me sleep in rollers, I had a hard time sleeping without them. Fortunately electric rollers had just come on the scene and I used them for the next 30 years!
