Using a Laney FRFR 112-My QC goes into Laney with a single cable. Both guitar and microphone are plugged into QC. The Issue: I can hear guitar, but no vocals are coming thru my Laney. Outputs are set to Multi-Out. What am I doing wrong?
@@PaoloMarelliGuitar ..AND I Am back to rehearsing for my first Solo. Only minor issue is QC states the Dread EXP is not present. Not a show stopper-I can take it off or add additional FX as needed. At least I have vocals now though! All the pieces are in place-THANKS TO YOU!!! Input set to mic and gain turned up to around 40 or so. The Laney's volume is at 11 which in my home is plenty loud and will be the same for venue. The guitar comes thru just fine! Thank you Paolo
Glad everything works now. If you go in the midi settings the exp pedal is assigned to send a midi message, if you take away that the EXP message should go away
Hey man! Great video! Quick question: Do you use backing tracks or is it all just looping? If you use backing tracks, how do you manage to use stage monitors? I am setting up an duo at the moment, and thinking about the best way to make the performance sonically richer by using simple backing tracks. But with that I am only able to use IEM (cause of the click, the intro, etc.). Would love to her back from you! Cheers!
Hi Paulo, i just came from your "Connect Quad Cortex to your iPad (quick tutorial)". Sorry to bother again haha. This video is also extremely useful!! Wanted to ask you, in the second scenario you talk about, you get your sound from 4 different processed lines in QC to the iPad and loopy pro via USB, so you can process as much as you can inside the app. But my question is, how do you send each individual channel to the sound guy? I would love to be able to do the same and send everything separated, like Voice 1, Voice 2, Guitar and looped samples for example. Do you need another audio interface with enough outputs coming out from the ipad? Im so sorry to bother with such a long comment, but I hope you can clarify this for me. Thank you so so much!
In my case I'm my own sound guy, so I do all my mixing in Loopy Pro. But the QC has 4 separate outputs (the 2 main XLRs and the 2 FX loop outputs) they are all balanced and you can assign them separately in Loopy and do exactly what you are asking
These are so valuable tips. Thanks for sharing
Bravo Paulo! 👏
This is a great set up and you’ve explained it so well, thank you. You’re a clever chap!
Your Preset was downloaded to my QC.
Simply Perfect! Thank you!!

Make sure the mic input is set to “mic” and not Instrument and turn the gain up as necessary

Hi sorry for replying this late. With this setup I only do looping, with backing track unfortunately I've not found way yet of not using IEM

Dod you on voice mic QC. And record 2 track voice and guitar? I just want to know of i got QC for singing record do I need audio interface. Thanks
You can use the QC as an audio interface and record voice and guitar as 2 different tracks
Both voices are running through the QC and can also be recorded separately
