I saw “Waitress:The Movie” this afternoon and it was wonderful. I expected that Sara would be superb (she was) but the whole cast was so amazing. So grateful for the opportunity to see this magnificent performance.
Amidst the Chaos is one of my favorite albums and Saint Honesty is such an amazing, well-written song. Sara epitomizes what artistry and songwriting are all about. Check her New York Times interview in 2019 and it’s absolutely phenomenal.
Just have to share...I'm an underemployed person, struggling with mental health issues and without a vehicle. I asked my sister with whom I live if she would take me to see the Waitress movie and she said yes. We're going tomorrow, early evening. Im so looking forward to it as I don't often get to pursue entertainment opportunities outside of watching television. And this weekend is my birthday, so its a really wonderful gift.

And I can't help but admire and respect that the music and lyrics came from the mind, heart and soul of Sara Bareilles who is wonderful as Jenna. The supporting cast is also so very good and contributes to a well rounded show. Glad to have had the opportunity to see it and enjoyed it quite a lot.

I would absolutely love to see Kelly Clarkson as Jenna in Waitress!! That would be so cool!! She certainly has the vocal range and emotional depth to do something really special!
Yeah we need a song and stories for sure with these 2!! Still remember the best wk where I saw them both in concert. Although a Gravity duet would kill me lol
The movie version of the stage show was an absolute blessing to all of us around the world that couldn't get to USA to see it. Thank you personally to Sara Bareilles from Melbourne, Australia for doing this. Waitress is now one of my favourite theatre productions. Well done!

Waitress is based on the movie of the same name written by Adrienne Shelly who was murdered before it was released. It starred Kerri Russel, Nathan Fillion, Cheryl Hines and Jeremy Sisto and many more. It was an independent film that Shelly wrote, directed and acted in. The movie was amazing and I'm glad it went on to inspire the musical and now a film. Most of all the amazing music by Sara Bareilles. And I'm glad we get a chance to see that version.
I’m hoping they will make it available for you all soon!! There’s so many incredible fans across the world who deserve to see it after all the support they’ve given to Sara/Waitress.
