Sara Bareilles is a gem of an artist. Stays true to who she is, writes songs that come from her own personal experiences but are also super relatable (I can relate to almost all of her songs in one way or another) and is an incredibly grounded and down-to-earth individual. Truly one of the best musical artists of this generation/decade. Sara is timeless.

This was a brilliant interview. Tom Power had a list of questions but wasn’t chained to them which allowed spontaneous dialogue. Sara is clearly a very intelligent and sensitive person in addition to her talents as an artist. I sense no ego or pretense and am so happy she’s not let anyone push her into uncomfortable directions.

Tom Power, must look up his other casts. Brilliant with an artist who I started following because she could magic up deep, dark, and hurting. But who could take you away on a gigglefest if you let her. This talk brought out things I suspected Folds/McKenna but above all the fact that the story is still being written.
