Well done David and Rachel a lovely video and what a great location just a great place to get away from it all for a couple of nights all the best Daniel
Thank you Daniel - it was a lovely little stop over on the way to Keswick. We liked the site and the facilities were good! Thank you for your comments Rachel & David
Great review of nice site guys. You managed to cram loads of information into that and thanks for your efforts. Regards, Mo 😊👍 ps... more outtakes please!! 👏😂
Yes it will look much nicer looking across - all be it the views of the hills are awesome so you quickly forget the mud 😀 thank you 👍 All the very best, David & Rachel ❤️
Thank you for your comment! It was a lovely site. Facilities great and perfect for winter camping when the grass is a no go. Thank you Rachel & David 💕
Hi Em that’s true - you pay for location and convenience plus the scenery in the Lake District. We were on route to an off grid charity event so decided cost was worth it! Thanks for the comments Rachel & David
Great video, guys; very informative. More like this, please..😃 Definitely one to bear in mind for when we get up that far, one day. Will tell them that LeisureBit sent us! 😉
Thank you - pleased it was informative and useful. We thought it felt very relaxing and enjoyed our short stay - thanks again, all the very best, David & Rachel 👍
It was lovely and relaxing - fabulous views - we really enjoyed and exceeded expectations. Thank you for watching and all the very best, David & Rachel ❤️
Looks ok for winter with hard standing is a must, £37 seems steep but has become the norm unfortunately…. That was a £25 a night maximum a couple years ago, but hey ho.
Morning! I think once the pond area has established it will look pretty and the views are spectacular. As you say it’s the norm now and for a site in the national park in the lakes is not OTT anymore. I remember when penny sweets were a penny too. Unfortunately everything’s gone up. David twisted about the price before we booked and was going to book a different site £5 cheaper but it was no where near as nice or with stunning views so no regrets here Rachel & David 💕
Hi there David & Rachel, You were on the same pitch as us! We actually walked to the summit of Blencathra and the views up there were amazing. Really great site, we loved it there. Nice to see it again and a pond taking shape. Best regards, Rob & Gail
Wow that’s fantastic - it’s been years since I’ve been up Blencathra, imagine it was amazing. wished we had more time but it was a fleeting visit this time - thank you - all the best, David & Rachel 👍
@@andyblake1849 We did Andy. There is an area where you can park at the bottom of the mountain that would save around a 45 minutes walk from site. Follow Blease Road from the village. Cheers Rob
We really enjoyed it and it was nice and relaxing with lovely views - handy if you like walking too! Thanks for watching and all the very best, David & Rachel ❤️
@@LeisureBit Hi David & Rachel, we recently found your channel and really enjoying your video’s. Always good to see other sites which we haven’t visited in the north of the county. We are based near Saltburn so the Dales and Cumbria are our go to places.
@@richardstainthorpe1342 thank you - appreciate the nice comment- we live in a fabulous part of the country - so many lovely places to visit. Thanks again, all the very best, David & Rachel ❤️
Looks a lovely site, and when the pond area matures will be even better, how far is the pub though ?? 🙂 Nice and clean toilet / shower block as well by look of it. Trev Debz and Tyler
The golf club is just a wander down the lane (5-10 mins) the pubs in Threlkeld you would need to cross the A66 so 10-15 mins depending on how fast you walk - we ate in for a change haha. As we didn’t visit the pubs all approx - we would go back though so sure we will visit ! Nice site and views - all the very best, David & Rachel 👍
It’s a great location and in the Lake District National Park which always commands a premium - yes it’s pricy but it is hard standing and fully serviced also. Not sure I’ve seen a site with leccy for under £25 for a while ☺️ Let’s hope the price comes down with electric reductions. Nice site all the same - all the best, David & Rachel 👍
What a lovely year round site in a beautiful location 😍 👍 ... love to you all 😘🤗❤👵🐾🐾🤠 xxxx

Nice location but these site's greed is rising, that site in my mind is £22 per night, £37 is outrageous.

I too think that’s a bit strong , perhaps in the season , but not this time of year.@@LeisureBit
Agree £37 pn is crazy. We have just got back from a weekend in York where we paid £22pn for hard standing and unmetered electric.
@@richardthwaite3750 that’s a really great price for 2024, especially if showers and toilet too 👍
