- Sonny busts in on a Q celebration and wastes no time confronting Carly about her pregnancy- in front of the whole Q clan. Mayham ensues. 'All I care about is my child.' 'Well I'll let you know when it gets here.' 2000.
I love the old Quartermaines and their arguments. "I don't know why I have to leave; it's my house!" Alan: "I gave it to you. . ." Classic :)
The irony of Monica calling Carly a tramp when she was with everyone & their daddy. It was so bad they had questioned AJ’s paternity!!!

Sonny's philosophy, "We can do this easy or we can do this hard". In an uncharacteristic moment of honesty and clarity, Carly didn't spin a story or try to squirm. AJ doesn't have a thing on Sonny when it comes to being cruel to Carly. Carly just takes it but won't leave without Michael. The Q's just bicker as they always do but Sonny puts an end to it. Nobody messes with Mr. C.

Yall just hating.🤣🤣🤣.....cruel was always threatening to send Carly back to ferncliff everytime the drunk couldn't get his way.....that was cruel....sonny never forced Carly or any woman to stay with him......PJ was just a plain loser begging for love and acceptance by people who didn't respect or expect much from him.

My goodness I can't believe how amazing the writing was back then! That was a BRILLIANT scene. I am so fricken pissed at Sonny for walking in, dropping the bomb, watching her get torn apart and threatened to lose her child, then they're alone and just leaves? WTF?
Poor AJ. I usually dont feel sorry for him but I did in this scene, sorta. And Carly. Did she sleep with Sonny while being married to AJ? Don't remember.

I agree. I always wanted AJ&Carly to eventually become a couple. The chemistry was undeniable. And this is coming from a HUGE Sarah/Mo fan as S&C.
It should have stayed AJ and Carly. Sonny and Carly were just soooo sleazy together. Carly made sense as a Quartermaine.

LW is a GREAT recast. Wish she'd been the 2nd Carly and not TB. Hated her as Carly! But Sarah will always be CARLY. She was perfect! I loved this scene so much. SB was always great at expressing vulnerability. She could be tough, but was soft as a marshmallow inside when it came down to it.
AJ should have had that no prisoners attitude Sonny had about not being denied of his child by Carly he might have got to know Michael earlier.

I am a true Sonny Corinthos fan....from then till now....but I could of knocked him down for doing this to Carly.....another thing was that I couldn't understand why they just didn't give them privacy to talk.....but the Q's were a fast bunch of bougy rich people who respected no one....what was so hard in letting them talk.....but if nothing else Lila is a true lady.

Yep, mostly because the writers left Brenda at the altar and never got Sonny and Brenda back together. Also, they thought that pairing Sonny and Carly they would become another super couple but not so. They should have kept AJ with Carly and let Sonny remain unattached.
