i love Carson together so much... especially when it's TB or SJB. no offense to LW but i really wish TB would come back as Carly and LW could play someone else so i could have my Carson back.
Truthfully, I consider Laura Wright's version of Carly as her own character. She comes off as egotistical, self obsorbed and making everything about her. Tam never wouldve called Lorenzo a loser as LW's Carly did in early 2007. LW wouldnt go into a room full of gangsters and wearing a wire...or threatening them with a baseball bat. Tam brought multiple layers to the role, layers still there now. Toughness, vulnerability, and empathy and humanity. TB didnt come across as a know it all like LW's Carly does. Mo and Tam were acting soulmates and he only had that kind of automatic chemistry with one other actress: Vanessa Marcil.
I feel like ppl are confusing the quality of this Carly vs LW Carly based on acting instead of the writing… cause both women can act their butts off but they writing for Carly was better during this time. Writing is everything!!! I’ve seen actors swim and drown depend on the acting.

It was the writing and a miscasting. After seeing Reese and Carly in bed, Carly shouldve gotten into a wreck and be presumed dead until another actress could play her. LW isnt believable as Carly. Never will be.
Her name is Jennifer Bransford. And she was given a raw deal. Yeah the one lousy one is Laura Wright because she's not playing Carly. I don't know who it is but it's not Carly.

@@JmBvhntnt28 Hi Jamal. Yes, that is my site and yes that person did say Wright could only play two emotions. Mad and real mad with a grimace. And that person was right. And yes, I also get that vibe too about Wright. She refused to give Tamara credit for Carly but now she's kissing her butt.
I didn't watch Gh when SJB or TB played Carly. I know without a doubt that all 3 actresses are the bomb because I went back and watched some of their scenes LW is my favorite SJB was hilarious but TB is my least favorite. But again I say they all are bomb at what they do
It actually shocks me when I see all those comments saying how great TB was as Carly. She was literally the worst. SJB was the best...she made the character so likeable. As soon as TB took over, the character went downhill fast. Not necessarily a fan of LW, but at least she has some acting ability...
Tamera had enough acting ability in the panic room scenes to be nominated for a Daytime Emmy though...lol She added layers multiple to the role that are still in place now. Carly learning of Michael's death is one of the most heartbreaking scenes in GH/soap history. LW's Carly at times, comes off as egotistical, self absorbed and a know it all. All she does is yell. She portrays Carly like she's a soccer mom, something she never was. She acts ashamed of her past instead of embracing and growing from it maturily. One of the reasons Tam left was bc she was tired of her Carly being a doormat to Sonny. She wanted her to have a job, career, stand on her own two feet. Perhaps another love interest, which explains GH starting to give her more scenes with Jax at the end of her tenure. Thank TB for who Carly is now.
