- Michael has been shot in the head by a bullet that was meant for Sonny. Everyone is informed and Michael is rushed to General Hospital.
They learn that the bullet is lodged in Michael's brain and he needs to be operated on.
this scene broke my heart...to see the original carly's reaction when the latest carly says michaels been shot. Sarah browns carly gave birth to michael so adds to the history and makes claudia's reacton believable

+RUBY RIZZLE that's part of it but I think they mean SJB showed a real reaction because she was the original Carly and gave birth to Michael.
"you take care of him" by far the nicest thing Carly has EVER said to Robin
"You take care of him." Carly to Robin. I liked that lil exchange. I guess out of anyone she knows Robin will care the most since she helped raise lil Chucky early on.
the fact the guy who shot Michael is one of the doctors taking care if him sickens me. can't believe this was almost 11 years ago and we've had two different Michaels song then.
Sarah nor Tamara could've done these scenes with as much power and emotion as Laura did. Laura was ripped off for an Emmy win for these scenes. This proved she IS Carly.
aw, I actually got teary eyed when Carly broke down w/Michael's clothes.
I Swear Carly and Jason are the only reason I watch this show #LoveCarlyandJason

This was def on Sonny. He thought he could leave the business to appease Kate, and he put his son in the line of fire while he protected his latest piece of @ss. The worst thing Carly ever did was have kids with a mobster.
Yep and went on to bring more kids into the mob life. Yet it's somehow Nina who is a danger to them and not Sonny, rme.

When Carly made that noise when Sonny said he was still man I felt that! I can forgive a lot of sonny but jumping on kate is still hard to get over.

The shooter was Ian devlin, the doctor operating on Michael. Jason killed him
I HATE THAT THEY ALWAYS BLAME SONNY. HE IS LWAYS THE BAD GUY. JASON IS IN THE BIZ, BUT HE STILL LEFT SONNY TWISTING IN THE WIND.
Sonny, Carly, and Jason were all to blame. Michael would've been better off with the Quartermaines.
Sonny had always been a very Selfish man!!! Right from the start. And so has Carly. Why is she surprise that Michael got shot? Sonny shot her too by accident.
What's so ironic is that you get to see Claudia's reaction as if she were still Carly! Sarah Brown should've been playing that role then!!! She was the first and the best!
Yet AJ was going to destroy Michael’s life. I hated how Carly still let Michael be around Sonny. Jason, Sonny, and Carly didn’t learn a damn thing. It’s messed that AJ never got to have a relationship Michael. Yes AJ was slimeball but he never had a chance to be his father yet Sonny did so much damage to Michael. I like Sonny but it does not dismiss how dangerous his lifestyle was. Carly and Sonny wasn’t good parents. Michael had been kidnapped twice, even though the 1st time was due to Carly’s negligence and lies. Not to mention that Michael had ran away multiple times and he was disrespectful to adults. Michael only turned out somewhat decent because of Jason. He still had went through a lot.
Jason and Carly started this whole ordeal Sonny initially wasn't even involved

seeing the original carly's reaction was the only thing making this scene worth it

it's funny that this moment started the FINAL end for Carly and Sonny

Why is the original Carly in that scene? You mean to tell me GH brought her back as a different character. Can someone please tell me what was her role in Sonny’s life or any other characters at the time she was on the show.

I’m back watching GH since 2020, and I feel like I have some catching up to do. Do you still watch General Hospital ?

Tamara did a way better scene than Laura Wright wen they thought Michael was dead. I still luv Laura though. She is great playing her role as Carly

The bullet was for Sonny, Claudia Zacchara hired Ian Devlin to kill Sonny but the bullet ricocheted & hit Michael.
Carly had a child with a gangster, lets her child go out with said gangster, I had no sympathy.

the funny thing is that the gunshot was nowhere near michael. the shooter hit something steal and it richoseted (i messed that word up) and it Michael. If the shooter would have aimed a little higher, it probably would have taking out Sonny or Kate.
How was Ian gonna operate on Michael when he is the one who shot him? Smh

This should seriously have been the end of CarSon bringing innocent children into the mob life, but they never learned. And Carly only kept Morgan from Sonny for less than a year and he ended up dead because of the mob life.
i love seeing the original carly aka michael's original (sarah brown) with the updated carly (laura wright) as they find out about michael getting shot..

oh how I hated jason back then, he was a liar, self-righteous, better then all and him and his blaming sonny is pathetic because people has more enemies then sonny since he is the killer. Thank God they brought back the normal,level headed,non-greasy hair,takes blame and doesn't lye jason. Wow this is when I stopped watching when he was with liz and became this liar, gross. to watch clips, oh so glad i didn't watch. It is so good now and Becky is finally getting a part with Lucky it makes sence
