Congrats on the Bright Star! Sinn's tech they call "tegimented" which diffusers into the metal itself vs PVD and DLC which are sufface coatings. Tegimented process is far more resilient vs PVD or DLC.
PVD is the process, DLC is a type of material applied by PVD. PVD process can be done with many different materials. Not 100% sure what Sinn is using but I have seen articles that say its TiAlCN (titanium aluminium carbon nitride), not sure if that is true or not
So if the description or spec of a product or wristwatch just says PVD, we can assume PVD? And that if it says DLC, we can assume DLC applied by PVD, correct?
@@RabbitWatchShop I don't really think there's a way of knowing what they use unless it's in the spec. Sinn just days PVD on their site. They don't say what the coating is, it could be DLC, only they know.
Let me rephrase. I got the 155 S Bright Star from Revolution. It's their collab and limited edition watch. Usually, I get my Sinns new fro.the only AD retailer in the United States, WatchBuys
Congrats. Beautiful piece. I'll be looking forward to the review.
