Rosé's speaking English in Australian accent Compilation.
The point of this video isn't to compare or blame any of them,
but to show that both of them able to speak English fluently.

So true. I remember Rosé said when she arrived at YG Jennie came over and talked to her in English and helped explain everything to her like an older sister. So their English skills aren't a competition they're something that helped Jennie and Rosé bond.

When Rosé speaks English, she changes the voice definitely. She sounds like a serious soooo serious girl and when speaks Korean sounds like cute.
Jennie's English is a little mix with Kiwi accent and American neutral.
Yes her voice sounds very loud(in a positive way) and mtured but she is not that at all(positively af)
i speak 3 languages and that's tru when u speak your mothertoung you sound serious at least in my case...
Jennie's English accent is almost all American if you ask me.
She does not have much N.Z accent at all.

Rose's accent is the typical Asian Australian accent we have here. I actually feel like the Australian accent is not super feminine. Jennie has a mixed accent now, mainly American sounding, and is definitely very cute :3

chorvagee she learned english in new Zealand so she has bits of a kiwi accent but over time she has picked up a few Australian things and shes deffinetly influenced by American english now.

Jennie's English is mostly American except she doesn't enunciate her "R's" sometimes like Aussie /Kiwi does.
I dunno... I'm a kiwi and one of the things I noticed was that she enunciates her R's way *more* than most kiwis do 😂

Rosé's Aussie accent is much more prominent when she speaks in English ( one of the main reasons why she has bias wrecked me a million times already along with LiSoo ) is because she has lived and grew up in Australia half of her life. Jennie's accent probably sounds so American because she didn't grow up in New Zealand, she simply learned how to speak English there. After she moved back to Korea, the only way to maintain her English was probably to consume English-speaking media, which is mostly American. Add to that her being friends with Rose and that's why her accent probably sounds so mixed.

I'm just happy they are both in the same group. Rosé though easily understands other English accents, not just American English. Her grammar on point, and the words she chooses in her sentences are apt to her age. Obviously she's a wide-reader. Good that she usually speaks up in English interviews, no dead-airs, no uhmm fillers so much, and she banters and jokes around with the interviewer-- A mark of intelligence. All Blackpink members have this so-called Language intelligence. 👍

Yeah she was not born in New Zealand and she didn’t end a lot of years there but she definitely picked up the accent a little by going to school with the kiwis and she probably had to rely on other American movies to keep her English accent when she moved back to korea
