It looked bad! I was telling Mike I know you guys have been in there, just couldn’t see a clear path that looked safe. You’ll have to show me one of these weekends…
Interesting side effect to learning a little climbing, I’m way more comfortable scrambling through class 3&4 terrain. When you start recognizing what a good hand/foothold feels like, makes scrambling much more comfortable for me. I recommend it!
Very cool! I have never climbed I think I would be too scared. I'll stick to hiking. I wonder if the cave has the lost gold? Love your videos. I was in the Supes this weekend exploring near Canyon Lake. Such a beautiful, untamed wilderness. Is your name Moonjuice from a beer? I saw it on tap at BJs. Anyway, love your energy and I can tell you really love being outdoors exploring. Maybe I'll see you out there someday!
Appreciate it! The MoonJuice trail name is from the beer… first few days on the AZT I was carrying a few cold ones and shared with another AZT hiker, nickname stuck. 😁 would also be a good name for some anti-chaffing cream… just sayin’
@ well I’m glad you weren’t sharing a kiltlifter. That would have been an even more interesting nickname. Antichaffing. Haha. I think we all make our own moonjuice while hiking.
Nice! I really thought I was going to finally take a peak inside that cave. 😂 I hiked up to that arch last year and from below I thought I could walk right up and through it but it was a way steeper than I thought and I went around. Looks like you guys went right up it with packs! I got into a bad fight with a cat claw along the way. 😂
I use Wondershare Filmora. No idea how it compares to other software, it’s the only software I’ve ever used. Pretty inexpensive, but gets the job done.
Ahhh, good question. Seemed to be about another 200’ to the top. Not sure what it looks like up there, I imagine something could be slung if nothing else.
Good question! Not sure what is above it, if there is something that could be slung and rapped from.. might have to hike up there some day. My buddy Troy has been in the cave, it’s severely sloped. Nothing spectacular… but of course, it’s about the journey. 👍
Mostly trad. There are a handful of bolts, in some blank spots where you can’t place gear. Check Mountain Project for details. Lonely Mountain, 5.8 trad.
You guys could have had your barbecue down below with a drone, no need to spend all that money on equipment, gone to the gym afterwards and had a lot more fun.
@@oldschool7761 bro! I LOVE HIKING❤️ IT was honestly a joke, nothing is as good as the peace that is absorbed and observed. I enjoyed the video and your channel. I still do the climbing as well, sold all the(gas) bikes and sticking with pedal power for now.
👍Love it @moonjuice!
Awesome vid Brevan! “Don’t try this at home” 😂
Always great to see you on the trail!
Thanks Rand! See you out there
Nice man👍 I still need to hit this one again before it gets too warm. The scramble to the cave isn’t too bad.

Breven , was nice meeting you on the Flat Iron trail today ! Ozgur
Nice meeting you too Ozgur!
Sad you didn't get to the cave but great video regardless! Makes me want to start climbing!

You and me both!

I hiked the treasure loop traill ever since I was a little kid, and I always wondered what was in that cave.
I’m still wondering too!

Cool video! What are you using for editing?

Nice!
What rout is this? looks fun
Lonely Mountain
Great video, I do not think I could climb. But I lije watching others doing it. I will stick with backpacking
any chance you guys could place protection above and lower in?
Ahhh, good question. Seemed to be about another 200’ to the top. Not sure what it looks like up there, I imagine something could be slung if nothing else.
Nice Climb. Could you go up and repel down over the cave?

This is trad or has bolted?
Mostly trad. There are a handful of bolts, in some blank spots where you can’t place gear. Check Mountain Project for details. Lonely Mountain, 5.8 trad.
@ thank you
Did you get new shoes?
Every 2 months… 😂
@MoonJuiceHikes good thing you can repair your own shoes. 😂

You have no idea how fun this is… the more difficult the better! Some like flying drones, others like standing on top of mountains. 🏔️
Exactly
Guys, buy a drones and a dirt bike.
I already have a dirt bike and 2 other motorcycles...
@mikefyten7761 so why the long hike?
This is a hiking channel… the whole point of our adventures is conquering long hikes. The longer the better.
