    These turned out great; moist & flully and so healthy!! I was skeptical about the amount of cinnamon but you can't even tell there is that much in there. Well balanced flavours!
    I mad a several adjustments: I increased the buttermilk amount to 1.5cups, reduced oil to 1/4 cup, added 1tsp of salt, and 1/2 cup of raisins.
    Thank you for sharing your recipe with us

    Made these about an hour ago and they are absolutely DELICIOUS!! Nice and moist and the perfect amount of sweetness, not to much and not to little. I will for sure make these again thank you once again for the recipe!! 🥰

    Can’t wait to try this recipe, it sounds amazing! Thank you so much for including the written recipe...many people direct you to their website for the recipe...which is very annoying. 👍

    I just made these but added apricots and dried figs together with some dates and omitted the sugar. They are delicious thank you 🎉🎉for sharing your recipe

    I tried this recipe and the muffins turned out soft. The top was crispy but inside was moist. But the combination of cocoa powder and the cinnamon was awkward to me. Next time I will only put either one. Thanks for the video.

    I don’t bake at all, but I could definitely make those and share with my neighbours. I would only have to buy the flour and bran. I also might use 1/3 cup of sugar though and no nuts. I like nuts but not in muffins or brownies. These are very nutritious.

    An ice cream scoop is a great tool for filling muffin tins

    As always, simple, easy and delicious! Thank you, Ivo. I have also seen water added to the empty spaces to preserve the tin and for additional moisture during the baking process. What are your thoughts on this?

    • @CookingwiththeCoias
      @CookingwiththeCoias  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes - you can certainly do that as it would create a humid environment in your oven and that will help retain moisture 👍👍

    I've watched many bran muffin recipes trying to decide which one to go with and I just choose yours!! Filled with healthy goodness and I have everything to make them except for one ingredient. I don't have buttermilk could I just use 2% milk which is what I have on hand? I'm not much of a fan of buttermilk I don't like the taste at all. I'm going to make these tomorrow. I have made bran muffins but wanted to try a new recipe. Thank you so much for the informative and easy to follow tutorial and the recipe it's very much appreciated. By the way I have the exact same counter top as yours!!! LOL

      You make your own buttermilk very easy and you may like this better. Just add 1 or 2 table spoons of lemon juice (or juice form half a lemon) to your 2% milk and you are good to go :) You are going to love these bran muffins and LOL on the counter top :) :) :)

    This is a hugely disappointing receipe!

      ...that's interesting - very sorry to hear this...I make these regularly, including a batch today and they are delicious....perhaps using 100% whole wheat flour is not your thing...I have 2 other recipes for these muffins, including one that uses just white flour, so you may like those other recipes better? Regardless though, I hope you find a recipe somewhere that you like, as bran muffins are good for you :) Thanks for writing in
