Being a VN vet I understand the Va community is not transparent they contradict their rules!!

All honorably discharged veterans should get E-1 base pay for life or their disability rating, whichever is higher. All 100 percent P&T should automatically get SSDI

The problems the V A created the new PACT Act neglected to hire enough staff including, doctors, raters and so on. The VA is so stinking backed up 😊 get bounced around and many of the VES folks have not been service members and just don't get PTSD, IBD, Prostate problems. The VA hired computer people with millions of dollars and did not make them complete the upgrade to handle over a million additional claims. Vets suffer horribly with the horrendous and complicated paperwork that they fill they Can't fill out or understand. The Rollout of this program has been a colossal failure. My husband has memory problems and they refuse to let anyone help him advocate for himself. This is wrong and the VA has abandoned this part of the veterans issues.

I applied, the VA denied me as they continue to do with my other appeal. For each veteran the adjudicators deny, the receive a performance bonus.

There is NO accountability for the VA, but for the vet it is hell to gather 30 or 40 years of medical records, put their case together and then advocate for themselves. While you are patting your backs Vietnam Vets are in their 70's are fighting for their lives. Shame on you all.

You are exactly right. How do you prove something 50 years ago. I don’t have medical information back then . It is an impossible challenge. They have all the files at the Va. 😊

They really need to revisit the places of exposure to agent orange. A lot of equipment and munitions, etc. coming out of the areas mentioned, we’re being sent for storage and whatever else to other military installation’s had agent orange residue on stuff.

you guys seem pretty aggressive. The VSO 's in Wisconsin are pretty timid. I thoough the VSO was your voice to the VA. I have stage kidney failure. It won't get better. I have been waiting for almost a year. I have found the PACT Act is so very confusing. Even the VSO's get confused. I have called the VBA numerous times and every time I call I get a different answer.

If you think I sound aggressive you could be right. If we weren't fighting for our lives here I would share the whole story and the way they treat vets. This panel is breaking their arms patting their own backs.
