Do you feel the recovery points are sufficiently strong enough to use for an actual recovery (either recovering the Tacoma or pulling another vehicle)? Strong in terms of attachment to the bumper and bumper attached to Tacoma.

I have the same problem, the wiring harness on the truck is now about 2 inches too short to make it to the plug on the bumper. I am assuming it sits out a little further than it did on the stock bumper which created this need for a couple more inches. I cant seem to get much additional slack out of the harness on the truck. Did you end up figuring it out?
Do you notice if the license plate lights wash out the rear view camera being angled up like that?

Yes extremely strong, you will have to tear the frame off to get this bumper to fail

no they did not stop working
Did you have any issue with the trailer lights being too short to hook up to the new bumper slot?
Not at all, I had to shorten the wiring they provided by cutting it after wiring it through the tail lights.
