    The breakfast looks yummy, even half eaten. Don't feel weird filming, looks like vlogging is the thing to do these days. Loved the video, always nice to travel from my couch.

    Wow, I love julie... Sarah this was so great. I felt like you were there for me!! Exactly what she said is the life I am looking for... to live in a peaceful non judgemental setting and to just be plain Happy❤ I'm just bursting with excitement to get to my new home in Samara... come on july 8th.     Hi Sarah, thanks for the video tour. I'm planning to visit the Pacific Coast end of this year. It gives me a good flavor of what I will find there. I hope the Brazilian strain of the coronavirus is not on its way to Costa Rica. Take care.

    I miss Cost Rica so much! I´m Costarrican and I have to say, seeing people from bigger and more advanced countries interested in Costa Rica makes me feel proud to be part of the culture and country foreign people feels attracted to

    I can feel a good vibe of the people that live in Samara. I have met friendly people moving to this town over the years, and it’s the type of people that is trying to escape from the rate race and connect with nature.

      @@natecharland3416 we are looking at this fall....for a week or two look around. I’ve been following you for several months now and understand you help in moving there! We would need your help for sure. I’m retiring in Oct. . We are very layed back and I feel we will fit in nicely there.

      I am not sure! It was on the beach down to the right. It should be very easy to find as the beach is not large :)

      If it is just for a month, I would use Airbnb. Or you can check out the Samara Tribe Facebook group, or the Samara Clan facebook group. You can post your dates and see who has what to offer!

    How would Samara compare to Puerto Viejo!? Have you been to both locations in Costarica and what location do you prefer?

      Difficult decision, both are worth visiting. Check if it's rainy season when you are coming, this can help you decide if you don' have time for both ;)

    This is the area we're wanting to settle in initially. Would really like to know home rental prices on the area. Typical 2 or 3 bedroom home with yard. If anyone has any info on that it would be appreciated.

    Try getting hold of the Dufresnes there a family from Canada who own a home and run a business there in Samara and they have there own youtube channel and web site .

    Great video! I lived there with my family for 3 months as we traveled through Costa Rica. Definitely one of our favorite towns we visited Very laid back so not the best choice for people that are looking for vibrant nightlife. Great place to learn how to surf.

    Samara is such a special place. Lived outside of the town for three years, and just made it back for a visit to my friends in the area for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. Met a Tica just yesterday from another part of CR who had lived here years ago, who told me that something about Samara "marks" you. I have to agree. Also Sheriff's, the soda where you were at at the beginning, is a great beachfront soda; also check out Soda La Perla off of Playa Cangrejal!
