You could play the open G instead of the fretted G on the D string..A little easier for finger positions, you get the ringing sound and also you get to practice a bit of string skipping.

dudes, i think it's an ESP ;) .. shure it gots the les paul style, but these inlays are normally used by ESP ! and james plays with ESP, too..
