These were just some of the scenes of a disturbing multi-disciplinary raid launched by the City of Johannesburg’s environmental health services, involving City Power, the JMPD, the CRUM department, Building Control and the Department of Labour, that took place in a building in Fulton Road, Industria This warehouse produced food goods.
#raid #foreigners #modernslavery
Theo don’t even eat food from their own stores. I always witness how the flock well known super markets to purchase stuff
This is just the tip of the iceberg, how many are still out there ?
This South Africa.we need more health Inspectors. So many food technologist like myself don’t have work.
It sounds like it mxm🙄
Always waiting for bad incident to happen before they act, top officials are into this 🤞
before 1994 this never happened, it only started after 1994 that these illegal people started coming in
I could listen to this guy narrating a novel
😂
Or address the nation.
Or commentating the soccer🤣
I don’t understand someone’s mindset to go through all the trouble of acquiring and setting up these super expensive production machines then after everything decides to skip on the health and cleanliness of the operation which should be the easiest part to follow if they just cleaned up after themselves.
Ja dis baie sleg vir daai kosfabriek
Sorry 4 my afrikaans in the 1st comment was just a bit sleepy
@@ronaldvandermerwe4957 😉 geen probleem nie my vriend…
It's lack of self respect and pride in their work. They could have started by renovating the place to look like a modern factory. The same shoddy structures they build in SA are the same structures they build in Pakistan.
well, it certainly cost an order of magnitude more money to arrange and maintain an actual food production facility up to standards, the packaging machines and simple production lines do not cost much, and it is to be expected the workers were probably not declared, that is how they could make good margins, not much expenses, no taxes. To be honnest, compared to pakistan "factories" it is pretty clean and organized, of course compared to us in west Europe this is far from standards.
😂to terrible hundreds of those shops all over the he country whats goverment doing about i
It? Country going down the drain!!!!!!!
Nice equipment in there! The owners are too mean to consider health and safery of the workers and the customers
Stem saam VUKA SIZWE!!!!!!
Strange that we trust a foreigner to sell to us but we walk past our own people 😂
To be honest, im jealous of how they made a living for themselves in front of us, yesterday i came across a stat that there arw more then 2.6million of their shops in our neighborhoods , looking at their warehouse regardless of the conditions it made me think us as South Africans alone I doubt we would have even reached such a step of even having a warehouse were we produce our own food. We will never reach a point of change because we rather write about it then really come together and force the removal of these shops and those who have money in our communities fund these shops so that they are occupied by us and we know regulations will be followed
We like to unite in breaking things down but when we have to build in that same unity we are missing in numbers
We have so many loopholes of lack of unity brotherhood sisterhood and family values in south africa that it makes it easy for other ethnic groups to capitalise on that, I doubt we would flourish if we were in their countries 😢
If we can abandon the slavery of debt buying houses and cars and a lot of unnecessary. Paying a bank for 20 years just for shelter while our economy is control and our complete dependence is on minorities, foreigners and government for jobs. Black earn a lot of money we can build industries and huge farm to feed the entire Africa instead all that money goes back to white banks paying for houses and cars really sad
If its really food as to deadly toxins
our problem is we follow the law.... We won't do this because we comply.
This makes me think that this was fully functional under the watch of our corrupt officials
No health standards? South Africa in full meltdown. Sad.
Thats some serious set up they have. I mean in regards to the machines, not the cleaniness
Who cares about cleaness, Sowetans would buy😂😂😂
This is what we eat at Emakasi township
At least they are bieng exposed. Such factories should be closed
One minister once said they must teach us how to run spaza shops...
Thabo Mbeki said they are here "to teach us business " yeh like how to mass poison your communities
Ai God is fighting for us 💪💯🔥
South Africa is finish with this guy's.. government failed to protect this country
ANC benefits
🤢🤮🤧🥵taking advantage of our poor people that is the factories there's a warehouse also in Mayfair
They will come for it as well...
God bless
Thank you...
What is stopping South Africans from producing for themselves? These foreigners are quite industrious.
Maybe loving and not wanting to kill your own people
We comply with the law. We are systematic, if we produces anything we producing them according to health codes, whatever we produce we want SABS approval. This is lawlessness that we should not be condoning, this is not taxed. This brings no value for the country
Why they are not creating jobs in their own country if that is healthy for people to eat. Why they have to come here, they can just take machines and go produce this kind of stuff in their own country so they can consume them.
Yes in their countries please.
Cause industires are regulated and. We dont cut corners
South Africans we support everything irrespect the quality nor velue of them, especially if that product is cheaper than the right one
even if it kills u, many of those items have chemicals in that make u sick
Ja grandpa Powders CONTAIN harmful TOXINS!!!! that are pesticides and tik stay the f@ck away from that sh***t
We got a shoe here lying next to the biscuits.😂
Nice video .Why don't you also show us how ,who, when all this came about .?Such a huge operation .So the government has no eyes, until now .Bloody fools .Vetri EC Komani 🙏🇿🇦🙏
Elections are coming up baba
@@HM-sk2mc And ???
It's election season. Politicians want to be seen as people's saviors. I would not rule out the possibility that there is foul play here.
This guy didn't pay his "protection" money. Thats why he got raided.
Terrible
We are already dead sies man😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
You are not allowed to open business of this standard in their country but this is what they feed us in ours?????
During apartheid yes butnot now it's god to have your own business but register them so that you can't be harassed but the question is can we manage them
Ah, and who lets them in? What about 'our' people - they trade on the filthy, broken pavements, while the foreigners get the shops.
You clearly have not seen the thousands of videos about unhygienic food prep in Asian countries.
@@WorkFromHomeAfrica I have seen it, first hand in some cases. The point is not well, if the food prep is filthy there, its fine in South Africa. But ja, y'all know everything, so enjoy.
@@namibcheetah Where were tgey trained about hygienic food prep? Should there not be food prep training given when such is found? Should there not be more frequent inspections done by health inspectors now that they know where such opeeations are? Instead they get shut downand the people just go and start another unregistered operation elsewhere.
Well done for seeing it first hand. You must be the only one in the world who has. Continue enjoying their food since you know everything.
It's so sad really, our government is failing us serious 😮😮
Useless government
And yet, they keep voting for them. You can thank your parents for the current 'Better Life for All'. And don't forget to vote for more of the same next year.
Go to school
They need to be locked
No wonder the clinics are always so packed. 😡
Imagine using those filthy toilets and not washing your hands while you handling the food that our people eat! Bathong! Lord help us!! 🤮🤢
well, you also have to realize these guys do not use toilet paper, they use the same hand to make this food, lol.
Where are these people coming from if they are foreigners and why they are not producing this in their own countries to create jobs for their people if what they are doing is healthy.
They are mostly Pakistani and Bangladeshi migrants. Government gets money from their countries to take them in and make them successful business people, while 'our' people watch from the filthy pavements their Better Life for All.
Because South Africa is a playing ground
Omw...this people must get out of our country
Uone kama uko rofa? Anae kmuletea iyo video ni mzungu, auwezi waza mbali Ana taka nini kati yetu? Kwa nini haja one sha factory zao, na hisi ungelujuwa vingapi Ana kuibia
But it's only becoz u go to these Indian guys if you go to boxer shop u will find the same thing but only becoz its a white guy owing those u won't go there a investigate we hv been eating also expired tmstaff from the shops like Shoprite boxer but u won't talk about it
Ubarikiwe sana, acha na awa wa rofa
Very true
This Country its a joke lets be honest guys😢
💯 when we talk they will say we are xenophobic.. allowing this kind of things coming to our Land they never respect the law of this country..
Easy to come up with such a clichéd statement. This is the norm in countries we have to compete with. How many workers have died in such sweat shops in certain Asian countries and how many big brand companies have relocated there to reduce costs?
It's not illegal food it's because they refused to pay the government to sell those food
Gov corrupt officials losing out on kickbacks.. Dats why dey closing them down..
Sorry for my afrikaans in the early comment just feeling a bit tired😂😂
ANC government
This is result of our twisted government, there's a lot this foreigners does to destroy our country but all the government does is to protect them and urge them to come in numbers as he always say " feel at home" 😠
They failed the state n citezens
AND EFF
Why test? Government must shut them down and arrest the owners
Hell, but they are productive! They just need to sanitise.
Being an entrepreneur in the manufacturing sector in Africa isn't easy.
Ag sies man.
They are ready to go to the blacks in the townships...nowhere else
And should have shown the owners atleast
AND I THOUGHT WE ARE
TARTRAZINE FREE BUT HERE WE GOING TARTEES
If you close them down where you going to get those food cos you guys can't manage a spa a shorp
The tenants and customers are our biggest problem
It look so dirty 😲
I am not a health inspector but that is rubbish.
At this point, whoever buys from them is the problem.
Praise to Jesus christ
praise jesus for what ?
Vokking Morsig. Sies. You filmed over the products to quick.
Our government is sleeping
What does the south african political parties say about this ?
😂 Thay are part of that that factory ,
Unataka waseme nini?? Na kipindi iyo factory ni yawo?? Unachukia mukimbizi bure tu
i blame the government.
Where do they get money to buy all that machinery and stuff. I mean they ran away from the country because the poverty there was unbearable right??
The govt should not be surprised children are dying from eating food from spaza shops, such factories should not be allowed to manufacture in these conditions.
And yet, they are EVERYWHERE. While police are organising CIT heists and selling confiscated weapons, and kidnapping people.
The filth in there!!! Yoh!!!
It's difficult to the ANC Government to come with this Entrepreneurs Businesses to the Unemployed SA Citizens.
The govt must inspect all manufacturing companies to see if they do up to the standard health wise of the people if not they must shutdown all
lol it will never stop thats why oir people get sick and some die
The problem is country leadership no tex sis for this anc leadership fork to them
These people are killing us watseba.
How did we get here?
ANC government take us there
😢 this is heartbreaking
Looks dirty
I don’t buy food stuff in foreign shops and I don’t usually buy there
Thanks to the rulling party for this. If we had leaders this would not be happening
Very dirty, they don't care about health
This video is xenophobic... somebody from somewhere will say that.
If ANCorruption is voted out next year's elections, our people will get rid of this foolishness quickly
Such an unhygienic fa tory!!! Filthy toilets with flies of course, door opening directly into the "so-called" factory! Where's hygiene there, or they are the exempted few from food industry laws.
Truly i don't support what they doing but everytime , when we are going towards election, this is wat our government do, foreign this .., foreign that.
You know why?
When they talk about foreigners , they'll get votes without a doubt
If truly they are concerned about lifes of the people , they must go places like Alexandra and fix that mess ,
Please stop buying from these people
Rather the health inspectors found them with no health certification but with a very clean operation.... What makes their situation worse is thier total disregard of people's health...I mean look at the toilets...but I salute the entrepreneurship side of it...the health part of it.....zero
Have these products been recalled? It appears they were distributed in bulk, so which retailers were the products distributed to? Why have the public not received a full list of these products to avoid purchase for safety???
nothing is clean there because the people that are doing all this snacks and biscuits are using dirty toilets to bad, but! anyway good for some people but not for some a, place where you make eating stuff have to be cleaned specially the toilet which the stuff is usually used all the time.✌️
I hope the factory is closed
Balixutha ilizwe ebalingwini nathi bahlali masilixuthenkubo
No wonder i feel sick after eating these snacks 🤢
No hand washing and cleaning of food utensils and bucket. I don’t see soap or sanitiser. Jo
I think these people had a very serious set up there... I would dream to have a set up like that....I mean machinery...but I think "stinginess" is what made them not go thru proper channels ...with relevance to health...all they needed to do was look for a proper place with all the health certification...
❤
Poor us, we are in big trouble shame😭😭😭
yho that chilli sauce is nice😭😭😭😭😭😭im so mad they are producing it in such a dirty place 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
Well to be honest it looks better than most hospitals in South Africa.
Intelligent people. Give them a warning and letbthem continue
Thats no healthy food products and the place look so filthy 😮
South Africa is a crime playground
cleaner than an "high grade" food factory in pakistan, lol.
People are buying this kind of food coz is cheap
Its all about South African leaders.
All I see is hardworking people making a living 😂
But most of all people is the sleepy government
Good heavens and they stopped me from baking because I had an aut washing machine in my very large kitchen.
The baked goods went into the next room with shelves where they cooked and were decorated and then packed everything clean and tidy. Cannot believe it
😢
GENADE! Serious try baking koekies and sell it through spaza shops bake cakes nearby soweto or mamelodi to make money im sorry 4 the loss
A good government that cares for its citizens would have closed all the foreign owned shops and sent thes people back to their home countries. This government is even nit awarevof the threat these people pose for this country. There are big guys who recruit the Pakistanis to run spaza shops and raise mony for Isis. Our intelligence services are almost non existent. We even have a useless government that cannot do anything. Only the lone Minister of Home Affairs can see this and tries to take action but what can an individual minister do when everyone in government has their eyes fixed on corruption.
Your idea will worsen the problem
Feather in your cap journo this is media at its best
What is the government gonna do about this what
JULIUS MALEMA SAID THEY OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS 😂
Pakistan ?
Brothers who are killing us no no😂
@@sizwehadebe8469correct most of this kind of cheap food is either Pakistanese, Bangladeshi or Chinese. That why I always look for a known South African brand when I buy any food.
The health department is not doing there job
Dangerous foods how do thy make it
Poor South Africans this is what we voted for to treated like nothing shame on the government spaza shops, car hijacking, house robberies its painful
waw ....so unhealthy. what we buying
