Golf 5 has nice suspension and great inside for a compact car. Very comfortable to drive.

Around 5.5 to 6 liters per 100km
Mine is on 296,000km (184,000 miles) and engine, turbo are strong. Clutch and flywheel changed recently. A few minor issues but overall still a good car

This is a short video, in which he drives fast.

im used to 2.0ltr so i got the 140hp gt tdi 6 months ago,love it its great 55mpg zipping around,,but far better in 6th on a run,,i wanted the 6 gears asnd the extra power and thought the 170hp will be a more pushed engine the price im paying,,mine is ace in every way,plenty of power 91k on the clock fitted a timing belt was 2k on a 2004 mark5

True BKD engines 1.9 are the best had 2.0 gt always had problem with turbo and mis firings now i have 1.9 0 problem except than starter motor locks and bulbs

Warum Benziner?
Achte auf klackergeräusche im Stand und frag nach ob Turbo oder Steuerkette schon gewechselt wurde. Wenn der Motor sich gut anhört, gut anzieht und der Kompressor und Turbo nicht zu laut ist kannst ihn problemlos nehmen. Hatte den gleichen Motor 2 Jahre lang im Golf 6 Plus 1.4TSI 160Ps gechipt auf 210Ps. Meiner hatte vor 2 Wochen bis ich einen Unfall hatte knapp 150.000Km runter, und ich habe die Kiste TÄGLICH getreten. GANZ WICHTIG BEI DEM MOTOR ist WARUM und KALT FAHREN!!!!! Ansonsten kannst ihn nehmen problemlos, auch bei dem Kilometerstand

Never!!! Look at the list in Wikipedia, the 1.2 TSI needs 10,6sec 0-100 and moves Max Speed 190kmh and the 170 H.P GTD needs only 8,1 sec 0-100 and can drive 220kmh.
